I've been eagerly waiting to read this book since finishing reading book 3 in the series. It certainly did not disappoint!
Chains of Fire is the story of Samuel Faa and Isabelle Mason. Samuel is the snarky lawyer who can control minds and reluctant one and Isabelle the power of healing and the socialite. They have known each other since childhood when Isabelle was adopted by the matron of the mansion and Samuel by the butler.
They both remain angry with each other and themselves though they are still very much attracted to each other. They bury the hachet to unfreeze the Gypsy Travel Agency funds and to save a kidnapped child who was taken by the Others to use as a pawn to kill the two Chosen in a man-made avalanche.
While they are trapped underground they finally find how to love one another and stay together.
