Viper Game (Ghostwalker)
I've finished "Viper Game" the 11th book in her Ghostwalker series by Christine Feehan.
Product Description
GhostWalker Wyatt Fontenot knows the price he paid for the secret military experiments that gave him his special catlike abilities. After all, he left his bayou home a healer and came back a killer.
While Wyatt and his GhostWalker brother Gator may have known exactly the sort of game they were getting into, Wyatt never anticipated where it would lead — or to whom.
The swamps hold many mysteries, but few are as sinuously seductive as Le Poivre de Cayenne. The woman the locals call Pepper is every bit as enigmatic as the three little girls she’s desperately trying to protect. From what, Wyatt is soon to discover. Right now Pepper needs a man like Wyatt.
Passionately. But her secrets are about to take them both deeper into the bayou than either imagined — where desire is the deadliest poison of all.

PNR Review: Dark Wolf (Carpathian) Hardcover
I've finished "Dark Wolf" the 25th book in her Carpathian series by Christine Feehan.
WHERE DARK LYCAN ENDED, DARK WOLF BEGINS
BOOK NUMBER 25 IN CHRISTINE FEEHAN'S ACCLAIMED CARPATHIAN SERIES
In Dark Lycan, Christine Feehan journeyed into the heart of the Carpathians, and into the souls of two lifemates stirred by the flush of passion and the threat of annihilation. In Dark Wolf, the breathtaking story continues as the bonds of family are imperiled, and the fate of two lovers lies hidden in the seductive shadows between life and death.
Skyler Daratrazanoff always recognized the miracle that was Dimitri Tirunul, a man beyond any dream that had ever engaged her nights. But she was human. Vulnerable. He was Carpathian. Nearly immortal. She was nineteen. He was an ancient. Yet she held half his soul, the light to his darkness. Without her, he would not survive. Caught between the two warring species, Dimitri has spent centuries hunting the undead to keep his people free, and humans safe. He had survived honorably when others had chosen to give up their souls. But now, marked for extermination by the Lycans, Dimitri found himself alone, and fearing for his life. But salvation was coming.
No Lycan would ever suspect someone like Skyler to dare mount a secret rescue operation. A teenage girl. A human of untested abilities. But she had something no one else had. She was predestined for Dimitri — as he was for her. And there was nothing stronger for Skyler than her desire to see her life-dream come true. Whatever the risk.
INCLUDES A PREVIEW OF CHRISTINE FEEHAN’S NEXT CARPATHIAN NOVEL, DARK BLOOD

My Review:
Finally we get the book that everyone has been anticipating is Skyler and Dimitri's book.
At the end of Dark Lycan Dimitri was captured and tortured by the Lycan's just because of his mixed blood. In Dark Wolf it has been two weeks since Dimitri was taken and Skyler with her two best friends Joseph (a Carpathian) and Paul (a human) sets out to free him since she doesn't believe a rescue team has been sent. When they finally reach Dimitri that is when most of the action starts.
I really like Skyler because she is courageous, spunky and despite the horrible experience she had during childhood she has overcome her fear of loving someone.
I really like Dimitri because he understood why Skyler had to rescue him. I also liked how he didn't claim her as a lifemate since he knew wasn't ready.

PNR Review: Dark Storm (Carpathian) [Hardcover]
I've finished "Dark Storm" the book in her Carpathian series by Christine Feehan.
Product Description
Awakening after all this time in a world of absolute darkness and oppressive heat, Dax wonders in how many ways the world above must have changed. But it is how he has changed that fills him with dread and loathing. Buried alive for hundreds of years in a volcano in the Carpathian Mountains, Dax fears that he has become the full-fledged abomination that every Carpathian male fears, a victim of the insidious evil that has crept relentlessly into his mind and body over the centuries.
But there are some things that never change.
His name is Mitro, the vampire Dax had hunted all these long centuries. Second in command to the prince of the Carpathian people he is the epitome of everything malevolent, and perpetrator of one of the most shocking killing sprees known to man — and beast. Even his friends and family weren’t safe from Mitro’s bloodlust. Neither was Mitro’s lifemate, Arabejila, an extraordinary woman with extraordinary gifts.
But now that Dax has re-emerged, so too has Mitro. The ultimate battle between good and evil has been re-engaged. Between Dax and Mitro, a violent game has begun — one that has marked Riley Parker, the last descendent of Arabejila, as the reward.

My Review:
Many centuries ago Carpathian hunter Dax was in pursuit of a vampire named Mitro. Mitro's lifemate Arabejila performed an ancient ritual approved by Dax that sealed both man in the center of a volcano. This ritual must be performed every 5 years by a female descendant of Arabejila. This ritual is handed down from mother to daughter and is a sacred duty for any Arabejila bloodline.
The book opens with Riley and her mother traveling through the Amazon to get to the volcano where Dax and Mitro are sealed. They are too late though because of the illness and death of Riley's father. Mitro grows more powerful as the hour of the ritual expires and does everything in his power to stop them from performing the ritual. As a result, Riley's mother is brutally murdered and both Dax and Mitro escape the volcano. Mitro causes chaos wherever he goes and it's pretty brutal and painful.
It was great to see Jubal and Gary traveling on the same boat as Riley. They are on a mission to find a flower that may have been used by the Carpathians centuries ago. I really enjoyed their deep friendship, caring attitude and the way they both protected Riley against some savory characters.
Dax and Riley's relationship was very sweet and caring. I really liked how they respected each others abilities and they both felt safe with each other. Glad that Dax wasn't really an overbearing alpha male and made Riley do things she wasn't comfortable with.

My Review:
Azami 'Thorn' Yoshiie is a Japanese business women sworn to exact revenge against the man who hurt, tortured and left her for dead. She was viciously taken and brutally tortured for experimentation by evil and cruel Dr. Whitney and was then thrown away because she didn't exhibit any extraordinary powers like the other lab children. She had hid her powers from him and she was very lucky to have been rescued by a powerful and reputable Japanese man. He taught her the way of the samurai by fighting with a sword and other deadly weapons along with her two adoptive brothers.
Azami needs to know if the Ghostwalkers are in league with Dr. Whitney so they head off to the compound where she meets Sam Johnson one of the members. While on the way to the compound they are attacked by unknowns so they split up and Sam and Azami are forced to fend for themselves. They manage to defend themselves and get out alive. There is an instant attraction between them but both are wary of each other. They don't know if they should trust each other or what!
Azami was a great character because she can kick ass and defend herself with different sets of weapons. With Sam as a partner they made a great team that shouldn't be underestimated with the great powers both weld.

My Review:
This book is about Zacarias De La Cruz an ancient assassin the oldest of five De La Cruz brothers. He's feared by all even his younger brothers and he has decided to end it all by returning to his ranch in Peru. Instead he finds his lifemate Marguarita who saves him from the darkness.
Marguarita can't talk because her vocal cords was savagely attacked by a vampire and Zacarias discovers she is his lifemate. He's not sure why she affects him so since she can't talk to him vocally. As he interacts with her he starts to feel things but he doesn't trust her and thinks she is there to trap him. Eventually he starts to see colors and realizes she is his lifemate and wants to protect her at all costs.
Zacarias reminded me of those long time ago Cavemen or even those men in the bodice ripper novels because in some scenes when he interacted with Marguarita he was quite brutal with her.
Glad to see that Marguarita is very determined and loyal to her friends and people she thought as family. Pretty happy that she stood up to Zacarias and didn't let him push her around. I thought she was really capable in taking care of herself and it was a delight when both she and Zacarias mind spoke to each other.
Hmm I wish that Zacarias got to fight along side his brothers against his long time enemy Ruslan or even the minor vampire enemies.
I have to admit it was more about Marguarita and Zacarias getting to know and living with each then actually action.
I really hated the enemies in this book!

My Review:
Saria Boudreaux grew up on the Louisiana Bayou, which may explain why she feels a special affinity to the place's eeriest secrets. Saria happens to come upon several corpses all containing leopard bites which causes her fear for her older brothers who are all were-leopards though she knows her siblings would not commit these atrocities.
Saria decides not to call the cops but instead contacts land owner Jake Bannaconni. He sends Drake Donovan to investigate the serial killings. At first sight and sniff Drake realizes that Saria is his mate as he struggles to control his euphoric inner leopard. He also senses she is on the verge of her first shift. As he makes inquiries into the murders and starts his courtship of his beloved, Drake learns a lesson about life on the Bayou when none of the leopard-shifting families including Saria's kin cooperate with him.
Saria is a wild and beautiful young woman who takes no crap from anyone but does as she sees fit. Raised by an alcoholic father and five brothers who could care less what she was doing in her youth so Saria retreats into the swamp to photograph the world around her. She's very sassy that one!
Drake has had his leg operated on and wants to know if he could still shift since he hasn't been able to for two years. He's very dangerous and very protective of Saria.
Loved how he would try to get Saria to do stuff his way but she wouldn't take it.

My Review:
I really liked Dominic because he was gentle, took care of Solange and never pressured her into having sex with him. He cherished her well being and he understood what she was going through. He also supported her decision to go after her enemy!
I really liked Solange because she survived the annihilation of her family and friends by the rotten males of her species. She's on a desperate quest to rescue the poor abused captives and to destroy the evil enemy! She's more of a soldier and doesn't know how to act like a women and is afraid she will disappoint Dominic!
The love scenes are very tender and loving! Wow are they hot and very graphic too!

My Review:
You learn a secret that Lev has been keeping!
I can't wait till Ilya, Jackson and Elle find out he is living in Sea Haven! I can't wait to see the fireworks!!!!
Rikki has an connection to water since it soothes and calms her! She has a troubled life since her parents were killed in a car accident and people she loves or cares for have been murdered! She has finally found a home where she can settle down with a group of adopted sisters who have their own unique talents!
Lev is man with no past and no identity! He has done some terrible things for his country (lie, seduce and kill) and they believe he is expandable! They snatched him away from his family when he was very young and he believes there is no other purpose in life. When he meets Rikki he wants to stay and love her (he believes she is his one redemption and salvation to start a new life)!
When we first meet Lev he doesn't remember who he is or what he is! He does know he is dangerous and knows things normal people wouldn't! He slowly regains his memory and I loved how he would nuture Rikki
and understand what she is going through. He didn't belittle her and would make sure things were made easier for her!
Rikki is attracted to Lev but is used to living by herself and is afraid that whoever is after her and people she cares for would also be after him!
When Rikki and Lev finally get together it's quite hot and steamy! Wow were the love scenes very hot and Rikki is very accomodating and loves to practise!

My Review:
I thought Christine finished her Drake Sister series off with a bang.
Wow Elle was raped, tortured and humilated is well detailed and descriptive (the way I like it not skimmed over). Stavros is quite a sick and sadistic individual but his brother is even more (I can't for his come upptance) and I was glad to see Bomber (German Shepard) was telepathic too and could sense Stavros and warn them when he was near.

My review:
I didn't really enjoy this book because I thought there was alot of things wrong in the story.
The way Jake treated Emma like a prisoner and she had to make sure he knew everything she did and where she wanted to go.
The sex scenes where hot especially on top of his office desk but most of the scenes seemed like kind of rape.
