Hayato's study trip in Europe has taught him more than he can digest about pastries and about himself. Back in Japan, Hanayu has also made incredible progress, becoming a skilled sushi master. However, when Hayato is offered the chance of a lifetime to study pastries in a real French patisserie, his ties to his family and his love for Hayato hold him back. Can Hanayu change his mind about this important decision without breaking his heart? Find out how the two foodie friends resolve their dreams, family obligations and love for one another in this stunning final volume of Mixed Vegetables!
About the Author
Ayumi Komura was born in Kagoshima Prefecture. Her previous title is Hybrid Berry, about a high school girl who ends up posing as a boy on her school's baseball team.
My Review:
I'm sad to see this manga end even though I haven't read vols. 1 - 6!
I love the cover because of all the yummy pastries and sushi and Hayato and Hanayu are so cute together!
Hayato is an incredible pastry chef and he has a tough decision to make when Hanayu's father asks him to work at his pastry shop in Paris. He torn between his love for Hanayu and his grandfather's dying wish!
I don't want to spoil the ending for any manga lovers so I'm writing a brief review!
4/5

Manga Review: Mixed Vegetables, Vol. 7 [Paperback]
I've finished "Mixed Vegetables Vol. 7 by Ayumi Komura.
Product Description
R to L (Japanese Style). Does Hanayu have the recipe for success? Can Hanayu discover the recipe for love? Leaving her internship at Sushi Hyuga to go on her family's annual trip to France is the last thing Hanayu wants to do. On the other hand, a pastry-research trip in Europe is Hayato's idea of a dream come true--can the two aspiring chefs ever catch a break? Plus, Hayato has become suspicious of patisserie assistant Maezawa, who has expressed an interest in Hanayu. As it turns out, both Hanayu and Hayato may have their wires crossed about what Maezawa is really after!

My Review:
I really like the cover because the colors blend in really well together and the color scheme is beautiful!
Hayato is quite the possessive and jealous guy and doesn't like it when Hanayu talks to other guys!
I really enjoyed looking at the yummy food and there is even a recipe at the back of the manga!
4/5
