Rebel (The Cat Star Chronicles)
I've finished "Rebel" the 10th book in her Cat Star Chronicles series by Cheryl Brooks.
He's Had a Galaxy of Women
A refugee of the annihilated planet Zetith, Onca has no family and no surname — only the fortune accrued by selling his prime services in a high-class brothel. When he comes to the rescue of a homeless Zetithian woman, passion flares, but he dares not touch someone who seems so young and innocent.
But None Has Touched His Heart
Kimcasha has lived by her wits on the streets since the age of ten. When her friends start to go missing, Kim uses herself as bait to find them, but her plans goes awry when Onca intervenes. As they are led into a dangerous underworld, Onca offers to join her crusade to liberate her friends, and Kim cannot refuse.

My Review:
Lucy and Tarq first meet in her family's diner and she makes recommendations on what he should eat. They are both attracted to each other. Lucy has a dream of owning her own diner with a husband and kids but first she will have to get away from her tyrant father and useless mother. She finally takes off to visit her friend with Tarq in pursuit. I'm never going to look at fried chicken the same again! Lucy is caring and sensitive with a selfish family who don't appreciate her.
Tarq considers himself not worthwhile because he can't read. and he's offered his sperm to women in need. He's never meet any of his children but once he's meet Lucy he decides to quit. He teaches her how to let go and have fun.
Wow the sex scenes were very hot, well detailed, tender and plentiful.

ARC Review; Virgin (Cat Star Chronicles) [Mass Market Paperback]
I've finished "Virgin" the 7th book in her Cat Star Chronicles by Cheryl Brooks.
Product Description

My Review:
We open the book with Captain Jack lecturing Dax for being the last remaining virgin Zetithian on the planet. I thought this was funny because Zetithians have a reputation for being great lovers. Dax has his eye set on Ava but it seems like she isn't interested in him at all.
Ava is fed up with Lars so she beans him one and decides to go back home to Acquerei and return to her old boyfriend. Dax fears he doesn't stand a chance of winning her heart but his shipmates and butler/robot Kot play matchmaker.
I really enjoyed the funny and witty dialogue between the characters and it was a delight following Dax's clumsy attempt of a courting Ava.
I really enjoyed the secondary characters of Kot who was sly, scary and mischievous and Waroun who is a wisecracking flirt. Threldigan and Quinn were also interesting characters.
