My Review:

Elsa Bjornberg is asked by Shanna to renovate a home in the Adirondack Mountains which will change her life.  As she ventures further into the forest something seems to be calling her like she belongs there.  She meets Howard a bear of a man who makes her feel like a women who is actually taller than her.  When they touch for the first time he sets off something inside of her but not in a good way.

Howard Barr is a shapeshifter - a grizzly bear who is usually eating bear paw donuts and is works security for Roman.  He has a celebrity crush on Elsa and is always watching her renovation show.  Now she is within his grasp which forces him make a choice between keeping her alive or his desire for her.

I was so excited when I heard that Howard would be getting a book and it didn't disappoint.  He was a great hero because we got to see him open up, we see how gentle he is with Elsa and how he interacts with Roman's kids.

My Review:

Gregory Hostein is Romatech Industries Marketing Vice President who is watching an ad being filmed at the Vampire Digital Network when Robby MacKay and Rajiv a were-tiger arrive to bring him back to headquarters where CEO Roman and Angus the security chief want to talk to him.  When he back they inform him of a video showing Malcontent Casmir getting his head chopped off has gone viral on YouTube.  They ask him if he drinks human blood but he says he drinks bottled blood.  

Sean Whelan a recently converted former CIA agent is assigned to escort him to a meeting with President Tucker.  Gregory believes his instructions are too weak to seek protection from the President of the United States and devises a Plan B and Plan C.  Plan B is to become allies and Plan C is to protect humans from the Malcontents.

During his meeting he learns that Belinda the First Lady is very ill and Madison his daughter is hosting the White House events.  He also learns there is an older daughter Abagail a scientist.  At the meeting he realizes no one trusts him so he demonstrates some skills they have.  The President asks Gregory to escort his daughters to New York and if Abagail trusts him he will take her on a Special Trip to China to collect three plants she hopes will save her mom's life.

I really enjoyed how the vampire existence is out in the open and the President trusted Gregory to take care of his daughters.  It was hilarious to see Gregory known as "The Playboy" falling for the brainy scientist.  Glad to see that Gregory didn't give up on courting Abby even though she was mean to him.

It was a delight to see Sean Whelan trying to convince his fellow CIA agents he's still human, Howard Barr the bear with his Bear Claws, more of weretiger Rajiv and J.L. Wang and Marielle's friend the healing Angel.  No Connor or Marielle since they are still on their honeymoon.

I highly recommend this sexy series if you like a light and funny read.

My Review:

Roman is a typical alpha male vampire - rich, handsome and playboy.  He was a healing monk in his former life who was kidnapped by bad vampires and tortured.  He finally escaped and formed a group of power vampires which he has turned himself.  He recently discovered a synthetic blood for his species and he's on the verge of discovering a formula to stay awake during the daylight hours.  Two of his employees have built a sex toy for vampires but when Roman bites it his tooth comes out.  He needs a night dentist.

Shanna life is boring and she is in the witness protection program after witnessing a mafia massacre and the death of her family.  The mafia have found where she works and puts on a hit on her that very night.  She is saved by a hot guy who wants her to put a wolf fang back into his mouth.

This series is hilarious and always makes me laugh when I'm in sad mood.  It was a hoot when we first meet Vanda and I really liked Darcy (she was so nice to Shanna).

My Review:

Marielle is an angel turned mortal after her third bit of disobedience toward her heavenly father.  Marielle's first mistake was allowing Roman to live. Her second was sparing the life of Otis who grew up and became women killer and cause the good vamps a lot of trouble. Her third attempt for sparing the lives of children has her cast out to be found and protected from a demon wanting to drag her to hell by one of the good vamps. While her life intertwined with the vampires she finds herself falling in love with Conner while still wishing to some day be forgiven and let back into Heaven. Her angelic death touch kills Shannon accidently and forces Roman to save her by finally making the dentist and loving mother into a vampire. If she does get the chance to return to Heaven will she want to give up on the love of her eternal existence.

Loved the way the angels and demons were brought into the mix of vampires and how Marielle experiences everyday interaction in a human body!

Connor was such a grouch but he's so loveable and I also loved how he was brought to his knees by love.

My Review:

I highly recomend reading this series if you love fast paced and hilarious paranormal books with great characters and some unforgettable one-liners!

Caitlyn Whelan is a former former state department employee who jumps at the chance to reconnect with her older sister Shanna.  She discovers a new world of vampires and shapeshifters when she arrives at her nephew's birthday party (she didn't know Shanna had married a vamp and had two children) and vows to protect them.  She has a talent for learning languages (psycholinguistic) talent in a couple of minutes and cats and dogs and even people seem to be attracted to her because they think she can help them!

Caitlyn wants Carlos Panterra the instant she seems and is determined to have him at any cost!  She decides to take a job at MacKay Security and Investigations and is totally helpless in the fighting aspect of the job.  Loved the scenes where she is aiming for the enemies chest but always get them in groin (ouch) even though it's a dummy's pecker!  I was laughing so hard!

Carlos is tormented by his attraction to Caitlyn because he's on the search for were-panther mate to help save their species and the loss of his family and clan.  He's never been as attracted to another women as much as he's to Caitlyn but he's determined to stick to his plan. 

I admire that Caitlyn is determined to get Carlos to loss his control and acknowledge their attraction.  When she finally wears him down (you can feel the hot steam rising in the air)!

I really loved the sexual bantering between them because it was quite entertaining and sexy!

My Review:

I highly recommend this series if you like light and fun paranormals!

I enjoyed this book because of the romance between Ian and Toni (a vamp and human who seem to hate each other on sight but really are attracted to each other but won't admit it)!  Once they got to know each other and fell in love it was sweet!

Phineas is a hoot as usual and I will quote a line of his later!

Carlos plays a big part and you find out his secret!

I really like Constatine (sp!) and I'm glad that he likes to take care of people and you find out what his special powers are!

One of the better books in the series because this one is not as silly as some of the others.

I really enjoyed reading this one about Vanda and Phil who is a match for her.
