Serpent Moon ARC (Tales of the Sazi) (Mass Market Paperback)

I've finished reading an ARC of "Serpent Moon" the 8th book in their Sazi series by C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp.

Product Description

Eric Thompson has always lived in the shadow of his older brother, the Alpha of the Canadian werewolf pack. While he has strength and speed and a howl that can truly make his pack whole, he doesn’t have his brother’s viciousness—and the pack wasn’t worth either of them dying. To Eric, a leader should lead wisely and well, and his brother has done neither. So he left to become a lone wolf.

Holly Sanchez has likewise lived in the shadows. A full human born to the Omega of the Boulder pack, she was attacked and turned into the very thing she had come to hate. Worse still, she became an alphic healer—except that as a wolf, she now terrifies the very animals she’d hoped to one day treat as a veterinarian.

But as the world goes mad and species begins to attack species, Holly and Eric learn that they may only have their special gifts, and each other, to rely on to hold together the fragments of what was once a mighty shapeshifter population.

For She has finally come, and the world will never again be the same.

My Review:

Very fast paced and I highly recommend reading this series!

Finally find out what happens with Marduc and there are some plot twists that are resolved and some that aren't which will spill out into the next book which I'm eagerly waiting for.

I believe the love story between Holly and Eric who knew each other when they were teenagers and are reunited again.  It was hot and you can feel the heat coming off the pages.

Nasil is an interesting character and in my opinion he really isn't a bad guy (would like to see him in future books)!

You catch up with old friends and find out what's happening with them (glad to see alot of them again).

5/5

Thanks C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp for sending this ARC to me for review on my blog!

Cold Moon Rising (Tales of the Sazi) (Mass Market Paperback)

I've just finished reading "Cold Moon Rising" the 7th book in their Sazi series by C.T. Adams & Cathy Clamp.

Product Description

TONY IS BACK

Former Mafia hit man Tony Giodone has been through a lot--he’s turned into a werewolf, with a human mate and a pack leader tougher than his old Mob boss. And he’s developed a powerful psychic ability—he can see into the past through other people’s memories.

Being mated with a human is difficult in more ways than one. Tony and Sue’s relationship is full of struggle. Adding to Tony’s trouble is a new problem with some old mobster “friends”…who also happen to be a cabal of Sazi mass murders trying to extinguish the human race.

Only one man might be able to help Tony and the Sazi stop the cabal: Ahmad, the leader of the snakes. He and Tony have a deeper psychic connection than Tony has with anyone else--even his mate! Now Tony is along for the psychic ride of his life as the crown prince of an ancient empire is faced with his deadliest enemy: a woman he once loved, whom he was forced to betray . . . one who may now betray Ahmad, Tony, and all of humanity.

About the Author

C.T. ADAMS AND CATHY CLAMP live outside Brady, Texas—Cathy with her husband and dogs, and C.T. with her son and cats. They are the USA Today bestselling authors of the Sazi shapeshifter series and the Thrall vampire series.

My Review:

Glad to see Tony and Sue back.  Ahamad was quite interesting and his history with Tuli was complicated.

I suggest reading "Hunting Moon" and "Moon's Web" first or else you won't know who's who!

This book was a kind of hard to follow because there were a lot of character surprises and they were undercover so you don't know which team they were really on.
