My Review:
Eric Warden is shifter leader of Shiftertown in Las Vegas. In the previous book Eric met Iona in a shifter bar keeps an eye on her. He knows she is a shifter, doesn't wear a collar and will be going through her mating frenzy soon.
Iona is half human and half shifter who has never met her shifter dad. She has hidden her shifter self from the world and lives as a normal human who has never worn a collar. She runs a construction company and lives with her mom and younger sister both who are human. Iona doesn't want anything to do with Eric or any shifters and tries to avoid him at every opportunity. At night she shifts into her panther self to run off her energy and Eric in his snow leopard form runs, plays and frolics with her.
As she interacts more with Eric she realizes that when her mating frenzy comes she won't be in control which would put her life in danger or she will go feral. Eric also has to contend with another shifter leader Graham.
Graham challenges Eric for the rights to Iona as his mate because he just wanted to hurt him.
When Eric finally brings Iona to Shiftertown she meets his family and his friends and pack. It was a delight to see Eric's family, friends and pack accept Iona as his mate since other paranormals I have read they don't accept them.
The chemistry between Iona and Eric was off the charts and when they finally came together it was very steamy and hot. They work well together and I really like how she supported and took care of Eric.
Graham was a total jerk at first but he kind of redeemed himself when he helped Eric penetrate a fortress and protected both their clans from cruel experiments being done on shifters. This reminded Eric about his nightmarish past when he was experimented on and first had to put on his collar.

I've finished "The Duke's Perfect Wife" the book in her 4th book in her Mackenzie series by Jennifer Ashley.

But Hart has sacrificed much to keep his brothers safe, first from their brutal father, and then from the world. He's also suffered loss -- his wife, his infant son, and the woman he loved with all his heart though he realized it too late.
Now, Eleanor has reappeared on Hart's doorstep, with scandalous nude photographs of Hart taken long ago. Intrigued by the challenge in her blue eyes -- and aroused by her charming, no-nonsense determination -- Hart wonders if his young love has come to ruin him . . . or save him.

My Review:
Hart Mackenzie is a affluent widower duke who is well loved by his siblings and known for his love-making abilities but he feels lonely. He can have any female he wants except his beloved former fiancée Lady Eleanor Ramsey. She is the only person who knows what he sacrificed to keep his siblings safe from their abusive father.
Since the deaths of his wife and heir he has turned from a compassionate person to a frozen heart. Eleanor arrives from Glenarden near Aberdeen to offer Hart a business deal. She shows him a picture of himself naked someone sent to her and she offers to help him find the unknown villain before they send any to the scandal sheets. Hart agrees though he distrusts the motive of his only love as he assumes she seeks retribution for his treatment of her.
I really enjoyed the brother love that Hart and his brother Ian had for each other. Hart and Eleanor were such a great couple.

My Review:
It's the anniversary of Cassidy's mate death and while is in mourning at the place where he died she is chased by an unknown power that needs her blood to open a portal to the Fae world. Next thing she knows she's in the clutches of handsome and sexy Diego Escobar. Both are very attracted to each other but Cassidy finds herself confided to Shiftertown for two weeks and she has responsibilites. She hasn't trusted a human since the death of her mate but Diego stirs up the mate bond in her. They find out it involves Reid a Fae who is posing as a cop in the Shiftertown division who was kicked out of the Fae world and his family killed.
Diego is mourning the lost of his partner and friend and is on the hunt for the people responsible for his death. His investigation takes him and Cassidy to Mexico where they finds a group of feral shapeshifters who are terrorizing the town. While defeating them they also rescue a group of female shifters and freeing them.
Eric Cassidy's older brother and the Shifter leader meets Iona a collarless half shifter who is posing as human. He very much attracted to her and this sets up his book which is next.
This book was well written and the characters were well developed. Eric was a sexy hero who wants to protect Cassidy even though she's quite capable of taking care of herself. I loved the family bond between Eric and Cassidy because they are always there for each other and they support one another. Really enjoyed the romance between Diego and Cassidy because they got to know each other before hopping into bed and they wanted to protect one another.

My Review:
In Shifterstown in the Austin area, human attorney Kim Fraser is defending shifter Brian Smith from the charge of murdering his human girlfriend. Brian is the first shifter she ever met though their existence has been known for two decades. Like most humans, she assumed shifters were beasts who needed collars to keep them from going berserk. In spite of her fears of shifters being violent beasts she believes her client is innocent so she comes to Shifterstown to obtain the help of the Morrisey shifter family father Dylan and brothers Liam and Sean.
Liam informs Kim that Brian never came to him so why should he help him. Kim explains she got the short end of the straw as the junior lawyer, but believes Brian is innocent because the collar prevents violent crime. She also says the prosecution, cops, and judge have not played fair and her client has given up but she has not. Although he has doubts about getting involved because of his attraction to the brave lawyer who came alone, Liam is forced to intervene when a shifter without a collar threatens Kim's life.
I really liked getting to know the shifter dynamics and the way they operate. The leader was a very scary and cruel.
I really loved Kim's take charge and spunky attitude no matter what was thrown her way. I'm really glad that she was very determined to prove Brian is innocent and her passion for her work.
I really enjoyed the romance between Liam and Kim because it was very hot and steamy and I enjoyed how she denied she was attracted to him. Their love scenes were oh so hot!
Loved Liam's laid back attitude and the way he wanted to protect Kim from harm. Loved the way he decided she was the one he wanted and went after her. It was very amusing that he laid his Irish brogue on thick and it irked Kim!

My Review:
Sean is the feline shifter Guardian who wields a magical Fae sword that allows shifters to be released to the afterlife before they die. He is well respected by the community but longs for a mate to settle down with and have a family of cubs. When he finds Andrea Gray the half-Fae and half-Shifter is being harassed by her pack he mate-claims her so he can bring her Shifter-town where she would be safe. He never expected to fall in love with the sexy and sassy shifter/fae.
I really liked Andrea's character because she wouldn't back down when other members of the pack would harass her and she could take care of herself. The tension between them was hot and steamy and I was really rooting for them to get together.
I really liked Sean's character because he really wanted to protect Andrea even though she hadn't accepted his mate-claim yet and he knew when to back off and when to push a little bit.
Really enjoyed the romance between Dillion (Sean's father) and Glory (Andrea's aunt) but it was heart-wrenching in some parts.
