My Review:

It has been several centuries since a spaceship containing paranormal creatures (vampires, werewolves, fairies, incubus, etc.) has crash landed in northern Minnesota.  They form an Underworld Council to monitor their behavior as they decide to hide among the human population.

Gabe Lupinksy a werewolf has worked long and hard for his geological position at Sebastiana Labs.  He finally has achieved his dream job when his boss assigns him to lead the expedition where an artifact was discovered.  He has a disability but he doesn't let that deter him from his job and his goals.

Lorin Schlessinger is a Valkyrie Princess and an archaeologist who has discovered an artifact on her latest expedition.  It is a beacon which sends a vampire to do some harm and to retrieve it for their own kind.

Wow the sexual tension between them was hot and I swear I saw sparks everytime they were on the page.  Wait until you read the love scenes!  You will need to take a cold shower to fan the flames.

The villain we didn't find out much about him other than he was attracted to a fairy who is a member of the expedition.

My Review:

This book was definately more darker and sensually hotter than a normal paranormal (which is a good thing).

Lucas and Scarlett were hot together and I'm glad they finally admitted how they love and want to be with each other.

All the characters are interesting, well written and developed.

I really liked Scarlett's cat who was such a character.   Also enjoy the music list that Scarlett sings for her concerts.
