RS Review: Wicked Ways
I've finished "Wicked Ways" the
New York Times bestselling authors Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush join forces to craft this spine-tingling thriller in which one woman's birthright holds the key to a rash of brutal murders.
Elizabeth Gaines Ellis is an ordinary suburban wife and mother. That's what she tells herself as she flits between her realtor job, yoga class, and caring for her daughter, Chloe. But for months now, Elizabeth has worried that she's far from normal that she's somehow the cause of a series of brutal, horrible deaths.
Her mean-spirited boss. A bullying traffic cop. Her cheating husband. Elizabeth had reason to be angry with them all. She didn't mean for them to die. No one will take her fears seriously — except the private investigator prying into her past.
The more scared and angry Elizabeth becomes, the higher the death toll grows. But those who wrong her aren't the only ones in danger. Because others have secrets too, and a relentless urge to kill without mercy or remorse.

My Review:
Storyline: Laura was raised in the colony of sisters and her she was dubbed the name of Siren Song. This colony of women have some extrasensory powers. Justice Turnbull a cousin of theirs the only male relative who has managed to live to adulthood. He is obsessed with killing every member of the colony and he is a psychotic killer.
Characters: I didn't really like any of the characters!
Romance: I didn't really like the romance between Laura and Harrison because I didn't feel like they connected and there wasn't any tension or heat.
Killer: The killer was very psychotic and was very inventive in their killings, etc. Very sneaky since no one saw them at all!

My Review:
I recommend reading the first book in the series "Unseen" so you will know who some of the characters are!
Storyline: At the beginning of the book there is a murder which left a young man stabbed to death and his pregnant girlfriend alive but hurt!
Characters: I admire Claire not to let anyone push her around (she did take alot of verbal abuse from her fellow workers) and to do her job. I also like Langdon and I understand why he's so angry about his sister's death and why he blames the hospital and Claire!
Romance: I really enjoyed the romance between Claire and Langdon because they are both attracted to each other but fighting it. They both think it's wrong because he blames her for the death of his sister. When they finally stop fighting it and get it on wow it's very hot indeed!
Killer: Both killers are quite insane and not quite there! One of them will only hurt who they though were responsible while the other doesn't care and have no remorse!
