My Review:

Daimon and Lara meet when she tries to assassinate the man he is protecting.  He learns that Powell has created his own army of female G-TECHS.  Lara believes all G-TECHS are her enemies and she wants revenge against them.  She believes they are the ones who killed her family and her mission is to destroy the Renegades.  She hesitates to kill Daimon and feels she can't hurt him.

Daimon takes her hostage and believes she may be able help them destroy Powell.  He also has to protect her when suddenly her own people turn on her and want to kill her.  He begins to believe she is his lifemate but he can't quite trust her.  Lara isn't sure if she should trust Daimon and the Renegades or even herself.

This book was very fast pace and a thrilling read with interesting characters.  Glad to see former heroes and heroines in on the action.

My Review:

I highly recommend this series if like fast-paced military paranormal series with kick-ass supercharged alpha males with a lot of action.

During the prologue we learn that Sterling and Rebecca share an attraction when they first meet in the library where she tutors.  Sterling asks Rebecca out on a date which he never shows up and is never heard of again because he was recruited by the army.  They found out he is hacker and he lives with his grandma in a trailer and they promise to take care of her if he joins which he agrees.

Fourteen years later Sterling's boss Caleb the leader of the Renegades assigns him to ask Rebecca to help with their cause and to keep her safe from the Adam Rains the leader of the Zodius.

Rebecca has lung cancer and she has just come back from Germany to her home in Houston.  Waiting for her there is Sterling and he explains about the differences between a Renegade and a Zodius and why his Special Force teams needs her help to find a cure for ICE (the new secret weapon of the Zodius).  Then suddenly they are attacked and he is handing Rebecca to his teammate Damion who then proceeds to hand her to their enemy Tad.  He follows them but passes out and when he wakes up he finds out that Adam forced Rebecca to take ICE to save his life.  Adam has a proposition for Sterling that if he gets Rebecca to help their cause he would keep his men especially Tad away from Rebecca which Sterling agrees too.

They both escape and rejoin his fellow Renegades but Sterling doesn't trust Damion and believes he's a traitor!  But is Damion a traitor or not?  You will have to read to find out!

Rebecca is a strong, smart and independent young women who enjoys her job as a NASA astrobiologist.  At first she thinks Sterling is working for Adam and doesn't trust him but really wants too.  She comes from a loving home until they are taken away from her.

Sterling's family was stolen away from him and he has always thought that he didn't need anyone in his life until Rebecca gave back into his life.  The internal struggle he was going through was well written and believable.  Sterling is a sexy and kick ass alpha male to the T.

When Sterling and Rebecca finally give into their desires man were the pages burning and even when they were only kissing it was hot and sizzling.

My Review:

Michael Taylor is a GTECH or super soldier who has managed to become a legend in a new breed of soldiers. He is one of several soldiers that have been injected with alien DNA to make them stronger, faster and better than the average soldier. One thing no one expected is the special abilities that some of them have mastered with their new found strength and speed. Michael is one that has managed to control the wind to his advantage.
Then Adam Rain a fellow GTECH stages a mutiny which splits the soldier into two groups The Zodius and The Renegades.  Michael joins The Zodius and leaves everything behind including the one thing that meant the most to him, Cassandra Powell. She is also the one woman destined to be his mate but rather than hurt her or allow what he has become to affect her he leaves.

Cassandra Powell was devastated when Michael left her before. Now he is back and she isn't sure if she can trust him. He is everything she never wanted but everything that she needs. Now Cassandra and Michael are being divided by their loyalties to duty and others only time will tell if they will be able to find a way to be together or if they will be completely torn apart again. Cassandra is the only person that can help Michael and his comrades. Cassandra and Michael are going to have to find a way to work together to overcome the madman and stop him before he destroys the world and humanity.

This book was very exciting to read and fast paced from start to finish.  The storyline was really easy to follow and the romance was very steamy and hot.

Really liked how things were explained (why they are fighting, what lifebonds are and how The Renegades build something new).
