I've finished "Scoundrel's Honor" by Rosemary Rogers.

My Review:

The book opens with Emma Linley-Kirov living in Russia where she runs a inn when she learns her sixteen year old sister Anya has run off or been abducted by two men who have promised her a stage career.  She seeks the help of family from her mother's side The Duke of Huntley who recommend Dimitri Tipova known as "The Beggar Czar".

Their pursuit takes them from England to Cairo where she charms the influential Caliph Rajih who falls in love with her and wants her as his wife.  He wants to make her happy so he helps her with finding her sister.

During their adventures Dimitri realizes Emma is the women for him and he really works hard at convincing her that she belongs at his side.  She believes she's not the one for him and really needs convincing though she does love him.  I really love the scenes between Dimitri and Caliph who take a dislike to each other and try to win Emma's love by one upping each other.

This book had everything that I love in a historical romance (well written characters, romance, historical facts suspense, some truly vile villains and an interesting love triangle).  This book was very tame compared to earlier books by Rosemary.

I've finished reading "Bound by Love" by Rosemary Rogers.

My Review:

I loved reading this book and it was quite fast paced!  I usually don't read historical romances but Rosemary is one author I will read!

Storyline: I enjoyed the storyline because Leonida wants to help her mom but also she felt guility not telling the truth to Stefan and his brother and wife.
Characters: All the characters were well written and you got to know them and care for them.

Romance: I enjoyed the romance between Stefan and Leonida because they both are loners and they understood what each was going through.  Leonida was quite a match for Stefan because she's a strong character and she didn't need a man to lean on.

Killer(s): The killers were quite vile and horrendous. Glad to see they got what was coming to them.  I wished the scenes were more graphic though!
