ARC Review: Jaguar Hunt (Heart of the Jaguar) Mass Market Paperback

I've finished "Jaguar Hunt" the 3rd book in her Heart of the Jaguar series by Terry Spear.

Two deadly predators

As a feline Enforcer, Tammy Anderson has one objective: locate the missing jaguar and return it to the States. She doesn't have time for distractions, and she definitely doesn't have time for sexy shifters with more muscles than sense.

One hot mission

Everyone and their brother has warned JAG agent David Patterson that Tammy is Ms. Hands-Off which only makes him more determined to get very hands-on. But things heat up in the steamy jungles of Belize and their simple mission gets a whole lot more complicated. Now it's going to take everything David's got to protect the gorgeous she-cat who somehow managed to claw her way past his defenses and into his heart.

I've finished "Jaguar Fever" by Terry Spear.

She's being pursued by everyone, in more ways than one.

Even in an exotic world of humans, jaguars, and tantalizing creatures who shift between the two, Maya Anderson stands out from the crowd. Interest from human suitors is bad enough, but when male shifters give chase, the real trouble starts.

Who's the hunter and who's the prey?

Investigating the black marketing trade of exotic animals keeps Wade Patterson more than busy. When he and Maya both get entangled in a steamy jungle mission, it becomes impossible to tell who is being hunted or who the hunters are. ARC Review: A Highland Werewolf Wedding [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished "A Highland Werewolf Wedding" by Terry Spear.

Product Description

On The Run

After werewolves Elaine Hawthorn and Cearnach MacNeill almost have a head-on collision on a foggy Highland road, they're pretty well stuck with each other. It'll be hours before anyone can get there to pull his car out of the ditch and they both have better places to be.

And Nowhere to Hide From Each Other

The sexy little American brings out all of Cearnach's big bag protective instincts. If she thought she was in trouble before, Elaine has no idea what kind of complications a hot Scot can cause.

My Review:

Elaine Hawthorne has returned to Scotland after being away for a long time.  When she had a head-on car collision with Ceanarch MacNeill she literally runs into someone from her past.

Ceanarch MacNeill honors his promises so he is on his way to his friend's wedding when he is involved in a car crash.  He asks Elaine to drive him to the wedding and when they arrive they are a little late.  They are asked to leave when they are noticed by the enemy clan.

I was really happy that Elaine was able to take care of herself instead of being your typical helpless female.  Glad that Ceanarch treated Elaine with kindness, respect and listened to what she had to say.  You could feel the chemistry between them.

My Review:

Julia is a romance writer and a red wolf who is delight because she's sassy and makes Ian crazy. It was a hoot reading how she gets in these situations and doesn't listen to Ian when he tells her to stay put. She always has to be in the action.

It was a hoot reading about Ian trying to tell Julia to stay put and she wouldn't.  He's a very strong, sexy and virile highlander who has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.  Loved how she would drive him crazy with her antics and challenges.

ARC Review: Wolf Fever [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished "Wolf Fever" the 6th book in her werewolf series by Terry Spear.

Product Description

She may be his destiny, but she's not his first choice...

Hospital nurse and newly turned red werewolf Carol Woods is being pressured by her pack leader to find a mate, but he's the only guy in the pack who remotely attracts her.

Why is he playing so hard to get?

The fate of the pack rests on his shoulders...

Gray pack leader Ryan McKinley doesn't want anything to do with Carol unless she's willing to embrace her wolf nature-no matter how beautiful she is.

But when a virus infects the local lupus garou pack, Ryan realizes just how wrong he's been not to seize the moment with the woman he's come to love. And now, it may be too late...

ISBN-13: 978-1402237522
My Review:

Carol is a newly changed red wolf who has psychic abilities.  The alpha of the pack is pressuring her to find a mate within the pack because newly changed werewolves have trouble with their animal side and female werewolves are rare.  She isn't interested in any of the men except for two brothers but they aren't interested in her (or so she thinks).  She finds herself attracted to gray alpha male Ryan but he's skeptical of her abilities.  She realizes she can't have a relationship with anyone that doesn't believe in her and denies their attraction.  She is haunted by dreams of werewolves not turning back to humans and uses this to not transform which makes her a danger to the pack and herself.

Ryan is hired to protect Carol when there is a kidnapping attempt and tries to convince her to accept her werewolf nature and transform.  Ryan is a sexy alpha male.

The buildup of the romance between Carol and Ryan was very steamy!

My Review:

I really liked Leidolf character because he's fair and treats his pack like human beings, doesn't treat them like scum (like the previous pack leader), tolerate of trouble pack members and also treats the teenagers like adults.  He doesn't take advantage of Cassie and wants her to be his mate when she is ready.

I really admire Cassie because she wants to save the wolves and she believes she's the one who caused a family tragedy (that is why she can't let herself get close to Leidolf).
