Untraceable (Mass Market Paperback)
I've just finished reading "Untraceable" the 1st book in her Tracer series by Laura Griffin.
Product Description
ALEX LOVELL MAKES PEOPLE DISAPPEAR.
TURNS OUT, SHE'S NOT THE ONLY ONE.
Private investigator Alexandra Lovell uses computer skills and cunning to help clients drop off the radar and begin new lives in safety. Melanie Bess, desperate to escape her abusive cop husband, was one of those clients. But when Melanie vanishes for real, Alex fears the worst, and sets out to discover what happened. Using every resource she can get her hands on -- including an elite team of forensic scientists known as the Tracers, and a jaded, sexy Austin PD detective -- Alex embarks on a mission to uncover the truth.
As far as homicide cop Nathan Deveraux is concerned, no body means no case. But as much as he wants to believe that Alex's hunch about Melanie's murder is wrong, his instincts -- and their visceral attraction -- won't let him walk away. As a grim picture of what really happened begins to emerge, Nathan realizes this investigation runs deeper than they could ever have guessed. And each step nearer the truth puts Alex in danger of being the next to disappear....

My Review:
Storyline: I really enjoyed the storyline because they couldn't really nail the bad guy without any proof of evidence. Didn't like the fact he is a women abuser and like to brand them with cigarettes on their neck.
Characters: I really enjoyed Alexandra and Nathan's characters because they were both stubborn, level-headed and they both were well written.
Romance: I loved the romance between Alexandra and Nathan even though he didn't believe her he was still attracted to her and wanted to protect her. I was glad when he finally believed her about the killer.
Killer: The killer was well liked and respected and no one suspected him. No one had any proof of evidence that he was drug dealer or killer until later in the book then they nailed him. Glad to see what was coming to him but I thought he got off to easy.
4/5

Whisper of Warning (Mass Market Paperback)
I've just finished reading "Whisper of Warning" the 2nd book in her Glass Sister series by Laura Griffin.
WILL HE HELP PROVE HER INNOCENCE...
OR LEAD A KILLER TO HER DOOR?
Courtney Glass has been in trouble all her life, but nothing tops being an up-close witness to a brutal murder. Until she's accused of the crime.
Every scrap of evidence points to her guilt, and only Courtney knows what really happened. Now she must prove that she's not a murderer...but is one of the killer's intended victims. As police investigators hammer her for answers, Courtney knows she has two choices: run, or trust the brooding, sexy detective who's made it clear she's his prime suspect.
Will Hodges doesn't need Special Forces training to know that, despite Courtney's killer looks and razor-sharp tongue, her tough-girl act hides a vulnerable woman with a deadly secret. As the body count rises, Will realizes that a lethal enemy has Courtney in his crosshairs. The killer is waiting, watching her every move -- and he won't stop until her fear has grown from a whisper to a scream....
