About the Author

Gerry Bartlett figures that vampires are pretty much like everyone else except for the liquid diet. Eternity or Mexican Food? Tough call. Then there's the whole problem with sunlight. When would she treasure hunt for her own antique business on the historic Strand of Galveston? Gerry's a native Texan and lives halfway between Houston and Galveston. Gerry loves hearing from her readers on her website.

My Review:

Glory St. Clair was turned into a vampire in 1604 with an hour glass figure.  Now she is riddled with a bloated stomach with a full figure after taking a drug.  Ian MacDonald is the creator of the drug and informs he has found an anomaly in her blood.  Glory wasn't human when Jeremy Blade her long time love turned her into a vampire.

Then pregnant demon Alesa saunters comes back into Glory's life and annouces she will be living with Glory until after the baby is born.  Alesa says she was kicked out of hell because she got pregnant while inhabiting Glory's body and that the baby's father is Rafe, Glory's former bodyguard, one time lover and long time friend.

Glory has three men after her Jeremy Blade her long time vampire love,  Rafe her former body guard and long time friend and Israel Ray a rock star who she mentored.

I highly recommend this series if you like fun and sexy thrilling paranormals.  Loved that we saw more of Ray and he had some hot and sexy fun with Glory.  Man were those scenes sizzling hot!

4/5

PNR Review: Real Vampires Don't Wear Size Six [Paperback]

I've finished "Real Vampires Don't Wear Size 6" the 7th book in her Glory St. Claire series by Gerry Bartlett.
Product Description

For a vampire, losing weight can be hellish - from the national bestselling author of Real Vampires Hate Their Thighs.

After Glory St. Clair kicked out the demon that had set up shop in her body, she had a serious fallout with longtime lover Jeremy Blade. But before Glory can win him back, she has some issues of the hellish variety to deal with.

When Lucifer himself offers Glory the ultimate temptation - work for the devil and he'll make her a size six-the curvy vampire's not sure if she can resist. But what Glory does know is that somehow, she's going to get back the man she loves and show everyone that real vampires always have more to love.

From the Author

When I write about Glory St. Clair, I always put myself in her place -- without the fangs, of course. So when she had demon trouble in the previous book in this series, Real Vampires Have More to Love, I had a feeling Lucifer himself would come to call. And if he wanted to lure her over to dark side, what could he offer a full-figured woman like Glory? Like me, Glory would love to be a perfect size six. Seems like every woman she knows has achieved that goal. Of course in the fantasy world of vampires, sirens and demons, perfect figures are the norm -- except for our heroine. So Glory's always dreamed of being a six herself. But with her hips and thighs? Not happening. I had a lot of fun imagining how she'd react to that offer. Guess you'll have to read the book to see whether she takes the deal or not.

My Review:
The vampire council orders Glory to shut down her store Vintage Emporium because it's attracting too much attention from the outside world.  Her on-off again relationship with vampire boyfriend Jeremy Blade has gone downhill since he found out about her fling with her former bodyguard Valdez while possessed by a demon.

Damian "Casanova" Sabatini offers her a chance to redeem herself by mentoring a recently turned vampire Penny Patterson like she did rock star Israel "Ray" Caine.

She also has to deal with Lucifer who offers her the one thing has has always wanted to wear a Size 6 in exchange for souls.  Also she has to help Israel with his drinking problem when he becomes addicted again.

This book is humorous as ever and a very light entertaining paranormal read!
3.5/5
