My Review:

This volume opens with Teru and her friends studying for their final exams before the summer holidays.  Some aren't studying what they should be while other are but they are nervous they won't pass.  Then it's the day they all have been waiting for and I believe all of them have passed.  As Teru is walking at school she is accosted by a guy previously beaten by Kurosaki.  He threatens Teru that he will reveal secrets about Kurosaki if she doesn't do what he wants.  He grabs her but she manages to defend herself and tells him that she won't listen to what he says and walks away.  Then we see Kurosaki asking Teru to go see a movie which she agrees for the next day.

Later we see the same guy talking to Kurosaki that he would like Teru to help him with his studies to graduate.  Kurosaki tells him he should ask Teru nicely and to explain his dilema.  Teru is waiting for Kurosaki when she sees the guy again and tells him to go away but he is persistant.  She finally relents and agrees to listen to him and when he is done she said she is busy but he can go to the library for help.  He agrees and thanks her and leaves.  Kurosaki finally arrives and she explains to him if they could postpone because she feels bad that she couldn't help the guy.  He agrees and she takes off.

We see Teru talking to Riko about Kurosaki and Riko gives her pointers.  Then we see Teru overhearing Kurosaki talking to a teacher about her.  The teacher is asking personal questions like what kind of relationship he has with Teru.  Kurosaki replies that nothing is going on between them and she is only his servant.  The teacher leaves and Teru comes down the stairs.  Kurosaki hears and turns around and is shocked to see Teru.  He asks her how much did she overhear but she runs away while he is calling her name.  Then we see Kurosaki at the library talking to Riko about what happened and we see Teru is hiding.  Kurosaki leaves and then Riko talks to Teru and tells her to make up with Kurosaki.  Teru gets a message from Kurosaki asking where she is and he will take her home since it's dark.  Then we Kurosaki on the roof and he gets a message from Teru asking him where is Teru and gives him three answers.  He turns around and sees her but she zooms out of sight.  He tells her he saw her and not to pretend she isn't there.  He then chases her and catches her in his arms.  They are happy!

We see Takeda on the phone with Kurosaki asking directions to find Master's teahouse.  He tells him it's okay because he sees Teru in front of him.  When he puts a hand on her shoulder she throws him and starts talking about Akira.  When she realizes who it is she apologizes.  Then we see everyone at Master (Masuda) teahouse eating and dressed up.  Teru has invited everyone to go visit her brother Souichirou's grave.

We also see Teru with makeup on her face hoping to prove to Kurosaki she is a women but he gets mad and asks her what did she do to her face.  I thought this scene was very hilarious!

Meanwhile Akira is stuck in a hotel room with Chihari and he isn't happy about it.  She asks him if he would like to go out with her and he is happy and excited.

We find out that her friend Rena has a new fiance but she is having doubts about their relationship since they don't have anything in common.  She asks Teru to have lunch with them one day but then she phones Teru that he couldn't make it.  Teru has already arrived so she invites her to have lunch at the restaurant.  Teru gets into elevator when she is confronted by Akira.  She panics and pushes the emergency button but Akira punches her and slams her hand against the wall.  She drops her phone and then Akira is threatening her when suddenly the elevator stops.  The doors open and we see Kurosaki there and he orders Akira to leave Teru alone.  Akira isn't worried and he draws out a knife but Kurosaki grabs it and cuts his hand (he doesn't feel it).  Kurosaki grabs the knife from Akira and slashes him but he is still alive but unconscious.    When they exit the elevator they meet Chihari and she says she will take care of the mess and they owe her one.  Teru and Kurosaki leave and he gets his hand patched up.  When he arrives home Teru has made him dinner which he enjoys.  We see Chihari on the phone with someone and I believe it might be Rena's fiance.

5/5
