Follow My Blog Friday #107

If you are new to the FF fun, Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES and Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

This Meme is hosted by Rachel from Parajunkee's View and Alison from Alison Can Read on Fridays.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host {Parajunkee.com} {Alisoncanread.com}and any one else you want to follow on the list.

2. Follow our Featured Bloggers - Rachel* @Booktastic Reviews and A Glass of Wine.

3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.

4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments

5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can

6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love ... and the followers

7. If your new to the Follow Friday Hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

The Friday Follow Feature are ...

When did you start blogging?

I started blogging when I was very young. My friend introduced me to the world of blogging when I was about seven and I’ve loved it ever since. Booktastic Reviews was created in late 2010 when I was slightly older though!

What is your favorite part of book blogging?

I love everything about it really but if I were to pick just one thing then it would probably be how you can just ramble on and on about books and there’s a whole world of book bloggers out there to listen! I can’t really talk about books I’ve read with friends or family so I’m glad I’ve found loads of people who happily will!

What is your favorite book(s)?

Ahhh, there’s so many! Right now I would have to say Milledgeville Misfit by T.L. Gray – it was such a powerful and emotional read!

What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?

Definitely the friends I’ve made! It’s so much fun talking and comparing books! But of course there is many other reasons why I love book blogging so much!

*Best name ever!

1. When did you start blogging?

I have been blogging for about a year and a half now. My first review went up Jan 28, 2011 and was for Stolen by Lucy Christopher.

2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?

I have been introduced to so many wonderful novels that I may not have read if not for hearing about them through fellow bloggers. Getting to expand my reading pool has been a huge perk. The other is meeting all the wonderful bloggers. It's refreshing to interact with a group of people that love and appreciate reading as much as I do.

3. What is your favorite book(s)?

If I listed all my favourites we would be here forever. Here are just a few of my favourite titles:

The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling
Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

4. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?

I would say getting to chat with fellow book lovers, and authors. It's pretty surreal that I have gotten to interview some of my favourite authors for my blog and will never stop being awe inspiring.

Q: Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?

The two books I would buy would be "Wanted: Undead or Alive" by Kerrelyn Sparks and "Haven" by Kay Hooper.

Interesting choice of books. I'm only familiar with Kerrelyn Sparks's vampire series. I liked the couple that I've read.

I am a new follower :D

I really enjoy Kay Hooper's books. I'm going to read Touching Evil sometime soon - I hope.
Thanks for stopping by.
