I've finished "The Unbearable Lightness of Dragons" the 2nd book in her Light Dragons series by Katie MacAlister.
Product Description
Ysolde Bouchier is still coming to terms with the dragon part of her, while at the same time trying to free a friend of Baltic-her Black Dragon lover-from the weyr, get Baltic to meet with the dragons who want him dead, rescue a half-dragon damsel in over her head, raise the shade of the man everyone says killed her, and once and for all clear Baltic's name of the murder charges that continue to plague him.
For Ysolde, being a dragon is starting to bite.

My Review:
I highly recommend reading the 1st book "Love in the Time of Dragons" because you need to know who the main characters are and the storyline (I haven't read the 1st book and I was kind of confused what was happening at first but it didn't take me long to figure out what was going on and who was who).
At the beginning of the book Ysolde has renewed her relationship with Baltic after centuries of separation. Her memories haven't all been erased and only some have come back in bits of pieces. She has alot to catch up with but Baltic is helping her though he is keeping some information from her. Some of the information is very important but he wants to protect her. They are still ouroboros from the weyr and at war with them. Ysolde has become good friends with Aisling and May and deeply feels the lost of connection with the dragon community. Baltic on the other hand doesn't want to work things out and wants the sept to be seperated.
Of course, Ysolde doesn't like this and among her priorities include clearing Baltic's name for crimes he was accused of, getting the interdiction lifted that is preventing her use of magic, solving a few new mysteries that come up along the way along with some of the old and getting the Light Dragon sept reinstated into the weyr. During the ride she has help from friends, even those that shouldn't be helping and she also acquires new enemies.
Glad to see former characters and seeing updates on their lives now. As always there is the usual chaotic and humorous storyline. Really happy to see Aisling, Drake, Gabriel and May.
Baltic and Ysolde's relationship is very steamy and they are very sure about each other. Baltic usually gives into Ysolde's demands but not without some protestation first.
4/5
