I highly recommend reading "Everlasting Kiss" the previous book to know who Daisy O'Donnell and Eric Erik Delacourt are first before reading this one!
Rhys is almost 500 yrs. old and has avoided love and all it's problems. Having tasted what he thought was love, he has no longer wants to go through that route. That is until he meets another mortal Megan. Megan works for Shores a shop that caters exclusively to the L.A. rich and famous bachelors. She has never been stirred up like when Rhy steps into her store and returning night after night. Rhys is Master of the West Coast vampires and has to contend with an ancient vampire that is determined to take over his turf.
Rhy is one very sexy vampire who is patient with Megan in courting her.
