My Review:

One night while on a wild celebration in Las Vegas with his two best friends Captain Timothy Shay lets down his guard and gets drunk.  He notices a brunette and is instantly attracted to her, watches her roam around until he loses her in the crowd.  While he is playing Russian Roulette he wins big time and meets Skye McDermott the sexy brunette he was eying earlier.  His friends decide to go visit a bar while he and Skye decide to go upstairs and have fun.

When they arrive upstairs Tim admits he's never felt this way before and asks Skye to marry him.  She agrees but thinks he's just drunk at first.  In a whirlwind they go to a chapel and get married.  Then Skye wakes up the next morning along and goes in search of her new husband.  She finds that Tim has left with the help of friend on staff at the hotel.  She also manages to get his address and decides to find him.

Meanwhile Tim and his two friends are on their way to a mission when his sister calls.  They have a nice conversation and then he starts talking to his friends.  He is also thinking of Skye and how guilty he feels for not saying goodbye in the morning and leaving.

Skye arrives at Tim's place and finds his sister there.  She tells her about their whirlwind marriage and his sister calls him back.  They have an interesting conversation and he asks her to get Skye's number and any information that is useful and he will be back soon.

When he gets back Tim and Skye have a conversation about their marriage.  They decide to give their marriage a go because they both feel something more than just sex and attraction.

Tim likes to put duty first and center and likes routine and order so it was funny to see Tim letting his guard down and having some fun with Skye.  I feel so sorry for him because he seems to be in state of arousal for the whole book and even cold showers isn't helping.  I feel his pain OUCH!  He's very lucky his uniform is loose.

Skye was raised on a commune with hippy parents and is a free spirit and believes in FATE!  She brings chaos and interesting creativity where ever she goes.  I thought it was interesting that Skye doesn't know anything about military life and she has to learn their codes and conducts.

You can feel and see the attraction between them (complete opposites of each other) and know there is something more than just sexual attraction.

4/5
