The 9th Judgment (Women's Murder Club) [Hardcover]
I've finished reading "The 9th Judgment" the 9th book in his Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson.
Product Description
The most personal
A young mother and her infant child are ruthlessly gunned down while returning to their car in the garage of a shopping mall. There are no witnesses, and Detective Lindsay Boxer is left with only one shred of evidence: a cryptic message scrawled across the windshield in bloodred lipstick.
The most dangerous
The same night, the wife of A-list actor Marcus Dowling is woken by a cat burglar who is about to steal millions of dollars' worth of precious jewels. In just seconds there is a nearly empty safe, a lifeless body, and another mystery that throws San Francisco into hysteria.
The most exciting Women's Murder Club novel ever
Lindsay spends every waking hour working with her partner, Rich -- and her desire for him threatens to tear apart both her engagement and the Women's Murder Club. Before Lindsay and her friends can piece together either case, one of the killers forces Lindsay to put her own life on the line -- but is it enough to save the city? With unparalleled danger and explosive action, The 9th Judgment is James Patterson at his compelling, unstoppable best!

My Review:
I highly recommend this series if you like your mysteries/thrillers fast paced with well written characters and good storylines!
SPOILERS:
Lindsay still is attracted to her partner Rich but living and in love with her fiancee Joe!
Rich is now dating one of Lindsay's best friends Cindy (who knows about his attraction to Lynsay in prior books - still thinks he's into Lindsay).
Both Lindsay and Rich were wondering why Marcus's hair was wet after finding his dead wife! They had suspicions about him but didn't have any evidence to convict him (the housekeeper helped them find the gun)!
The mother and children killer outsmarted Lindsay when she pretended to be the secretary of the owner of a newpaper company (he knew who she was already)! He made her drive to a bridge half naked and drop off the money! He got someone else to pick it up (set the security guy who needed more money)!
At the end of the book they still didn't figure out who the cat burglar was! Was in an abusing relationship and finally got out!
3/5

I haven't read this series though I really want too. I like his thrillers (his romances not so much) but he has a problem when he gets to book about 6 of getting to involved in the characters personal lives (yep I like my thrillers to be about the case). Thanks for the review and putting it back on my radar.
