ARC Review: Hell, Yeah [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished "Hell, Yeah" the 2nd book in her Honky Tonk series by Carolyn Brown.

Product Description

She's finally found a place that feels like home...

When Cathy O'Dell buys the Honky Tonk, the nights of cowboys and country tunes come together to create the home she's always wanted. Then in walks a ruggedly handsome oil man who tempts her to trade in the happiness she's found at the Honky Tonk for a life on the road with him...

He lives the good life...

Gorgeous and rich, Travis Henry travels the country unearthing oil wells and then moving on. Then the beautiful blue-eyed new owner of the Honky Tonk beer joint becomes his best friend and so much more. When his job is done in Texas, how is he ever going to hit the road without her?

My Review:

I highly recommend reading this series if you love sassy heroines and hot heroes.

I love the dynamics between Cathy and Travis because the bantering is well written and you can see the heat sparks between this two.  Everytime Cathy and Travis cross paths they are always getting into a fight (exchange barbs) and it makes me laugh everytime.

Cathy is a alpha female who takes charge, not a shame of being a bar owner, smart, strong and doesn't care what people think of her. I understand why she has trust issues after what her ex-fiancee did to her.

I liked how Travis treated Cathy after an ordeal (he didn't baby her)!

4/5

Thanks Danielle from Sourcebooks for sending this ARC for review, greatly appreciated!
