RS Review: Locked and Loaded (Men of Delta Force) [Mass Market Paperback]
I've finished "Locked and Loaded" the 2nd book in her Men of Delta Force series by Alexis Grant.
Product Description
Acclaimed author Alexis Grant assigns a scorching-hot mission to the Men of Delta Force, where military power meets its match — in the passion of a woman …
DEA agent Sage Wagner will do whatever it takes to bring down Miami’s biggest drug lord — even go undercover and become his mistress. But her bold plan hits a snag when Delta Force shows up. Namely, Captain Anthony Davis. This ultra-elite warrior could blow Sage’s cover with a kiss — and beat her at her own game …
At first, Anthony doesn’t realize that the drug lord’s sexy new love interest is actually a trained DEA agent … until she nearly knocks him cold with her ninja moves. Now he’s hoping to use her underworld edge to help block an arms deal with terrorists. And take her in his arms and never let her go …

My Review:
DEA Sage Wagner has an agenda to kill drug lord Roberto Salazar for killing her family. She goes undercover as his mistress to collect information about his dealings with Al Qaeda member Anwar Assad of Afghanistan.
Delta Force Captain Anthony Davis's mission to prevent an arms deal with terrorists clashes with Sage's and neither of them are really happy about it. He believes her to be nothing more than an eye candy mistress until she shows him her martial arts ninja fighting moves. He barely manages to knock her out and report back to his boss and when they get in touch with Sage's boss they decide to work together.
There is a mutual attraction between the two but they decide to complete the mission first before giving in.
This book has high octave action from the moment hero and heroine first meet to the last pages of the book. It has a lot of twists and turns with some very unsympathetic nasty villains. I'm glad that Sage finally got her revenge.
4/5
