Manga Review: Pandora Hearts, Vol. 8 [Paperback]

I've finished "Pandora Hearts Vol. 8" by Jun Mochizuki.

Product Description

The snow-white maiden encountered once upon a time in the depths of the Abyss by the clown christened the Red-Eyed Specter ... who was she really? As there are two sides to every story, could it be there are two sides to the existence known as Alice? Duke Barma may have provided a sordid outline, but Break colors the tale with vivid swathes of bloody crimson as he opens up about his past. Will these tragic truths long secreted away isolate Break further from his allies once he has revealed them?

My Review:

I highly recommend reading in volume order or else you won't know what is happening.

Since this is my first volume I have read I was really lost to what was happening.  The illustrations were really well done and the characterizations were well written.

3.5/5

Thanks Hachette Book Group and Yen Press for sending me this manga to review, greatly appreciated!

Have you found that there are manga series that you can get into starting halfway through a series? I've always assumed that you need to start at the beginning.

I have the first one in this series so I can't wait to read it. It is hard to jump into a manga without knowing the rest of the story. But then again if you got it for review it costs a lot to go back and get 1-7

Thanks for the quick review, I need to read this soon.
