Indulgence in Death [Hardcover]
I've finished "Indulgence in Death" the 31st book in her Eve Dallas series by J.D. Robb.
Product Description
An indulgence for readers: the new Eve Dallas novel from the #1 New York Times-bestselling author.
First it was a limo driver shot through the neck with a crossbow. Then it was a high-priced escort found stabbed through the heart with a bayonet.
Random hits, thrill kills, murderers with a taste for the finer things in life-and death-are making NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas angry. And an angry Eve can be just as an efficient and dangerous predator as the killer.
As time runs out on another innocent victim's life, Eve's investigation will take her into the rarefied circle that her husband, Roarke, travels in-and into the perverted heart of madness...

My Review:
Storyline: We first read that Eve and Roarke are on vacation in Ireland with his family. Eve is surrounded by noises and chores she's not use too (like roosters, pigs, cows and hay gathering, etc.) Eve reveals her wonderful and loving present to Roarke. Next thing you know there back in New York and a new case takes center stage. Strange murder weapons and people on top of their field are being murdered
Characters: I really love Eve's character because she takes no nonsense, doesn't stop thinking and figuring out who the murderer is and why, kick-ass heroine and loves Roarke and not just for his looks or body! I love Roarke because he really loves and adores Eve, smart and loves to help her and take care of her too. Always a delight to see Peabody and McNab (they're both a hoot!)
Romance: Lots of loving scenes between Eve and Roake in this book.
Killer(s): Both of them only kill for the thrill of it and are so snooty (it's not funny). They are polite but you can tell they are snubbing you if you are of no interest.
5/5
