Manga Review: Blood Alone Vol 5 [Paperback]
I've finished "Blood Alone Vol. 5" by Masayuki Takano.
Product Description
The "London Waltz" story arc comes to a stirring conclusion as Kuroe awakens at the foot of the stairs in Misaki’s mansion, his wounds miraculously healed. But Kuroe discovers that Misaki is already in the grasp of the evil vampire Caledwich. With his own life on the line, and more importantly, Misaki’s, Kuroe must face Caledwich in a battle from which only one of them will walk away.

My Review:
This volume opens with Kuroe waking up at the foot of the stairs with his injuries all healed. He goes in search of Caledwich and finally finds him. Caledwich says he's heard of Kuroe the Great Magician and before they start fighting again he disappears.
In the second story Misaki is scared of the thunder but she doesn't tell Kuroe because he has to go to work. He figures out that she is scared and comes back but she said she isn't scared so he leaves - but does he? She goes in search of him but it looks like he is gone but he's behind her and he stays with her.
In the third story Misaki and Kuroe are having fun swimming but nothing much happens.
The last story Misaki is kidnapped by another vampire and Kuroe has to come rescue her. This vampire also disappears when Kuroe defeats his clones.
This volume was very fast paced and had some interesting villains. Misaki was very rebellious in this volume and thought she could take care of herself but she was wrong. Enjoyed the tender moments between Kuroe and Misaki.
3.5/5

Haven't heard of this one. I'm a little confused since I came into the review 5 books in, but it sounds good. Always up for a good kidnapping :-)
