As part of his effort, Beatrice returns the precious ribbon given to his cactus self by his beloved owner. My Review:

At the end of Vol. 9 Beatrice kissed Hee-So, told her he loved her and gave back the piece of ribbon she gave him when he was his cactus self.  Hee-So has decided not to avoid Beatrice after his admission and to treasure those feelings.

One day Hee-So skips school to hang out with Whie-Young when suddenly she loses the piece of ribbon to  that Beatrice gave her to the wind.  She begs Whie-Young to use his magic to get it back for her without knowing how it would impact his body.  Whie-Young uses his power to get the ribbon back but he collapses into the water.  Hee-So jumps in and saves him and takes him to the hospital.  He's unconscious for at least four days and he's dreaming of his younger self and learns a secret that might have an impact on his and Hee-So's life.

This volume showcases Whie-Young in the lead and we learn how he was treated like a slave by Hee-So in their younger years and how he would make sure she was happy.  Whie-Young has come to the conclusion if only he loved Hee-So he would be so much happier.

It was nice to see Beatrice away from Hee-So and working for his family (he gets paid for all his hard work).  He's trying to be more manly because that is the guys Hee-So is attracted to.

Hee-So has come to the conclusion that she likes Whie-Young and it looks like a triangle is starting.

4/5

Yeah, see the whole "slave" thing would not sit well with me. I don't find anything funny about it and I think it would definitely derail my enjoyment with this series.
