Follow My Blog Friday #78

If you are new to the FF fun, Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES > Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

This Meme is hosted by Rachel from Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read on Fridays.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host {Parajunkee.com} {Alisoncanread.com}and any one else you want to follow on the list.

2. Follow our Featured Bloggers - Books are Vital and Once Upon a Time.

3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.

4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments

5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can

6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers

7. If your new to the Follow Friday Hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

The Friday Follow Feature is ...

Books Are Vital

Who is Melannie?

She loves hot and spicy food, 80′s movies and dinosaurs.

She actually decided to apply for med school and got in. She’s about to start her third year there and has never been happier. When naive strangers ask Melannie how is it possible that she has time to read FOR PLEASURE while also being in Med School, she always answers with the same sentence: BOOKS ARE VITAL. You can’t go on everyday without them, so you better find time for them. So if you ever happen to see her in person, don’t be scared of the huge purpuish bags under her blood-shot eyes, she probably comes from an all-night date … with her 1000 - something pages med books.

Once Upon A Time

Hey! I'm Hannah and I am addicted to buying books. I adore being able to open a book and lose myself in worlds filled with dragons and magic. Fantasy is my favourite genre though I’m willing to give almost anything a read, I just look for a good, well-written story. As well as fantasy I enjoy historical fiction, paranormal, chick lit, and contemporary fiction. I like anything that’s a little bit otherworldly and preferably quirky. My favourite books are 1984, The Book Thief, and A Game of Thrones, and I pretty much grew up on Harry Potter.

I love blogging because it gives me a chance to keep writing (I'd like to write my own novel 'one day') and communicate with people with the same interests as myself, and more times than not, I've found that these people are absolutely awesome.

Question of the Week: When you've read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it..?)

Depends on the book.  If I really enjoy it I would hoard it and if I didn't really care for it I would either give it away or donate it.

The same applies for me. If I liked it I'll keep it, but if not I'll give it away or put it up for trade. =)

I don't keep books I didn't like either. What's the point of keeping it if you're never going to read it? Unless you really like the cover I guess.

Here is my Follow Friday post
