My Review:
Samantha is mourning the loss of her father and at his memorial she overhears her fiance on the phone talking about how useless she is and she doesn't know what's going on. Her dad gave her the combination for his lock where she finds a gold lamp and when she asks to be somewhere else. She finds herself in the land of Izazz with a genie her tells her she's his new master and he's there to grant her every wish and to make sure she's comfortable.
Kal has been a genie for over two thousand years and has admired Sam from afar after hearing about her from her father. Sam is his last master and he is one thousand wishes away from his freedom.
It takes a little while for Sam to get use to all the mythological creatures (unicorns, gnomes, leprechauns, centaurs, foxes, phoenix, etc.) and she uses some of her wishes to restore the land which I thought was really thoughtful and nice of her. Some of the creatures don't get along with each other and create chaos and destruction.
Then Albert her Grade A jerk of a fiance gets mixed up in the adventure and they have to find him before he ruins things. He is using Sam for her money, father's business and Kal the genie for his own selfish reasons.
The romance between Kal and Sam was very sizzling and hot!
3.5/5
