My Review:
We open the book in Afghanistan when an attack left many in Jaxon Tyler's unit dead and those who survived were changed into werewolves. They became the Alpha Pack. Jaxon and his unit of shifters are betrayed by his girlfriend Beryl and he knows he is fortunate to survive while tossing his lover into the fire.
Kira Locke is lab assistant who suspects her boss being involved in something terrible. One night she steals some of his tissue samples but is caught! While on the run she manages to escape the lab. Guards are able to hunt her down when her car breaks down and she is forced to flee by foot. But luckily Kira is saved by a wolf named Jaxon Law. Soon Kira finds herself part of the Alpha Pack: men with supernatural skills who can also shift into wolves.
I really enjoyed this book because it was well written and very fast paced. The romance and love scenes were quite steamy!
I thought Kira wasn't acting like a normal human would be when she was first introduced to the pack or Jaxon. She wasn't afraid of them and just accepted them as werewolves.
4/5
