I've finished "Blood Hunt" the 5th book in her Sentinel Wars series by Shannon K. Butcher.
Product Description
Hope appeared out of nowhere, naked and alone, a woman without a past. The only thing she knows is that she is imbued with a strange power. It's in her blood. And two men want to posses it. One is Logan, a Sanguiner demon-fighter who needs Hope's essence to survive. The other is Krag, a Synestryn lord whose desire is to enslave Hope, and drain her of the lifeforce. When Hope and Logan both fall prey to Krag, a powerful desire grows between them. But is it enough to thwart their captor's diabolical plan and his demon warriors, and survive a vampire's destiny written in blood?

My Review:
Logan's race must feed from blood of special humans or die. These people are scarce and his race is slowly starving/dying. His main goal is to save his race and protect, care for and join those who carry the precious blood to sustain them. While trying to save a couple who has this special blood he is saved by the aid of a courageous woman named Hope. A woman whose blood calls to him but whom he cannot have.
Hope has no memory of her past but she has the urge to help others. Her mission is to find homeless friend but that is interrupted when she witnesses Logan struggling with an beast and she saves him with her blood. She can see auras around people and she senses Logan is a very brave honorable man. She also senses she must help him.
I loved this book because Logan and Hope's romance was very well developed and they suited each other. It was very action packed from the first page to the last. Logan was so gentlemanly with Hope and it was so much fun watching him struggle with his feelings for her.
We also catch up with Caine and Sybil who is dealing with the death of her parents and the repercussions of that and Nika and Madoc with her sister Tori and Andra and Helen with their sister Jackie.
5/5
Thanks Laura from Penguin Canada for sending me this book to review, greatly appreciated!
