A Season of Seduction [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished "A Season of Seduction" by Jennifer Haymore.

Product Description

Although the widowed Lady Rebecca has sworn off marriage, men are another matter. London's cold winter nights have her dreaming of warmer pursuits - like finding a lover to satisfy her hungry heart. Someone handsome, discreet, and most importantly as uninterested in marriage as she is. Someone like Jack Fulton.

A known adventurer and playboy, Jack seems like the perfect choice. There's just one problem: Jack isn't interested in an affair. He needs the beautiful, mysterious Lady Rebecca to be his wife. And he doesn't have much time to persuade her. A secret from Jack's past is about to surface, and by Christmas Day he'll be either married to Rebecca or dead.

My Review:

I highly recommend reading this series if you love well written characters with a great storyline!

Becky wanted to find adventure and excitement but was wary of men because of what her late husband had inflicted on her.  She still carries the scars and damages he did to her body and soul!  When she meets Jack she is very tempted by him because he woos her with the right words and gestures and he's a very caring young man.  She's only looking for a fling.

Jack has known tragedy well because he lost his family and young love while he was a young man.  This incident has scared him and he wants to find and grab on the one person who could help him heal his heart and help him love again .  He needs Becky because she beautiful, intellegent and is rich and could help him with his problem.  When he fells in love with her he's afraid she will learn the truth and leave him.  He hopes his plan will work out and plan a life with her forever!

Jack and Becky are great together because they are both lonely and both suffered great lost.  They have alot in common and they really enjoy each other.  They certainly steamed up the pages and when they finally make love it's amazing!

5/5
