Follow My Blog Friday #118

If you are new to the FF fun, Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES and Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

This Meme is hosted by Rachel from Parajunkee's View and Alison from Alison Can Read on Fridays.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host {Parajunkee.com} {Alisoncanread.com}and any one else you want to follow on the list.

2. Follow our Featured Bloggers - Book Liason and Angela's Anxious Life.

3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.

4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments

5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can

6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love ... and the followers

7. If your new to the Follow Friday Hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

When did you start blogging?

We started blogging May 1st, 2012

What is your favorite part of book blogging?

The book blogging community. I never realized that there was a whole group of people online that are as passionate about books as I am.

What is your favorite book(s)?

We both love Thoughtless and Effortless by S.C. Stephens, The Downside Ghosts Series by Stacia Kane, the Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost, and too many more to name here

What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?

We had an author thank our blog (along with a bunch of others) for reviewing/featuring her first book in the acknowledgements of her second book. I wasn’t expecting it and thought it was the coolest thing ever. As a book blogger, I don’t think you ever expect to be recognized for what you do, you read because you love it, and it was really nice for someone to say thank you.

1. When did you start blogging?

I started blogging in April 2011… funny thing is the blog was actually started in Oct 2010. It was meant to be a personal blog about things going on in my life. Then I would see all these book blogs and knew that I was more interested in blogging about books. That is also why my blog is called Angela's Anxious Life since it was supposed to be about my life not books. But I like the name so I stuck with it.

2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?

My favorite part is that I get to express my feelings about a book after I am finished. It's that moment when the book still lives within you and you just want to talk about it. I don't have any friends or family who read like I do (well my mom reads a lot but not the same kind of books) so blogging helps me connect with people who have similar interests.

3. What is your favorite book(s)?

Oh wow… you would be surprised. I love all kinds of books (except non-fiction). My favorites would have to be The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, the Drizzt series by RA Salvatore, and Catcher in the Rye. As you can see my interests are all over the place.

4. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?

Several things actually. I am able to communicate with people who have similar interests and find great suggestions from them. I found a great book blogging community here in Colorado. I am able to find out about great books that I may not have known about before. I love to meet new people so stop on by my blog and tell me a little about yourself and your blog!!

Q: What do you hope to accomplish with your blog? Is it to one day become an author yourself, just for fun, maybe get some online attention, or maybe something very different?

The first think I wish to accomplish with my blog is to meet some more blogger friends (I've already meet some nice ones) and to comment more.

Second, now that I have time to work on my blog I hope to change my template and make it more attractive and inviting.
