Questions and Answers
1. Who are some of your favorite authors?
CJ Lyons, Cindy Gerard, Vicki Hinze, Peggy Webb, VR Marks, Allison Brennan, Robert Gregory Browne -- the list goes on!
2. What's a typical day like for you?
Coffee with my husband on the porch of our century old house (the resurrection of this old house is a story unto itself), then check the email, etc., and then onto whatever story I'm working on. My younger daughter, the nurse, usually comes by for lunch. The afternoon is back in the office with nose to the grindstone! My three dogs are usually right alongside me!
3. What kind of music do you like to listen to? What are some of your favorite bands/artists?
You know I like a little of everything. Like a good story, good music is relaxing and inspiring and just good for the soul! Give me Rascal Flatts or Lil Wayne or Alicia Keyes or Jon Bon Jovi or Michael Bolton or Sean Diddy Combs!
4. What hobbies do you enjoy?
Junking and touring homes. I love houses, old or new, big or small. And I love finding, saving and/or repurposing old stuff.
5. Are your characters based on people you know?
No but I can't deny there's a little of me or my husband in every one of them!
6. Have you ever experienced a dangerous situation like in your books?
When I was about five, my little brother and I were at home with our older sister when someone broke into our old farmhouse. My sister hid us and kept us quiet and calm until he left. I will never forget those terrifying moments or the sound of his footsteps as he prowled our home.
7. What books can we see in the future?
The first three books in the Faces of Evil series are out now, OBSESSION, IMPULSE and POWER. Look for RAGE in April, REVENGE in July and book six in August. There will be twelve books total in the series!
