If you are new to the FF fun, Feature and Follow Friday
is a blog
hop that expands your blog following by a
joint effort between
bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday
is now hosted by TWO hosts,
myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs! How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
Now to make this FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES and Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list! It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.
This Meme is hosted by Rachel from Parajunkee's View and Alison from Alison Can Read on Fridays.
To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee and Alison Can Read}
2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love and the followers.
8. If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
Our Feature is Words Fueled by Love
When did you start blogging?
I had dabbled in blogging several years ago, but I started a book blog in October of 2012.
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
My favorite part about book blogging remains to be the community of other bloggers and readers. Everyone is incredibly supportive and kind and helpful. I try to repay to others who are new to book blogging because it’s always been so meaningful to me.
What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I blog about YA and NA in a host of genres. I go through phases (like now) where it seems to be a string of contemporary romance books, but I also enjoy paranormal, dystopian, sci-fy, fantasy. Occasionally I’ll review an adult book too but those are rare.
What is your favorite book(s)?
This question is just too hard to answer. Some of my favorites I read in 2013 (because we’d be here all day for me to recount ALL of my favorites) were: the current 3 books in the Imdalind series by Rebecca Ethington, The 5th Wave, The Fallen series by Abbi Glines, Hopeless by Colleen Hoover, Inhuman by Kat Falls, Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire seriously I could keep going on.
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
Connecting with authors, talking with them through Twitter and Facebook and their own blogs, participating in events where I get to promote an author – those all have to be some of the coolest things I’ve experienced through my blog. A close second to this would be because of the things I’ve learned from so many much more experienced bloggers than myself, I’ve been able to share this knowledge with my husband – who loves to write spiritual material (he too has a website: chasingalion.com) and he recently self published a Family Devotional on Amazon. Even though it’s not me personally who accomplished this, I take his accomplishments as important as my own. His eyes have been open to the wonders of being a Goodreads author. haha
Our Feature - A Reader's Sanctuary
1. When did you start blogging?
This will be my 2nd year blogging. Last year I was still learning my way around the blogging community (I still am but I know much more now) and I didn't have much time to blog as I would have liked. This year I just want to have fun and blog as much as I possibly can.
2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?
My favorite part of book blogging is I get to talk about books and people are actually interested. No one I know personally really likes to read so when I am so excited about an Amazing book I've just read no one really cares but here in the book blogging world people care as mush as I do if not more.
3. What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I mainly blog about New Adult books and Paranormal romance books but I am starting to read more Dystopian as well.
4. What are your favorite books?
Choosing your favorite books is so hard to do. I read soo much and have fallen in love with so many books. I'll just choose a few I've read last year. 1) The Night huntress series by Jeaniene Frost 2) The Mark of Nexus Series by Carrie Butler 3) Consequences Series by Aleatha Romig 4) Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead 5) Slammed Series by Colleen Hoover.
5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
The best thing that has happened to me because of book blogging is the friends I've made. I have met some really amazing and helpful people. The FF has definitely been good to me. Each week I have new people commenting on my blog and it's just an amazing experience.

You have a fantastic list here. I still can't bring myself to read the most recent Black Dagger book. Every time I try I get so worked up! I've been waiting for a Blay and Qhuinn book for so long, and now I can't even work up the guts to read the thing. *Les Sight* New follower via GFC. Check out my FF on newbielibrarians.blogspot.com
Will definitely add those books you mentioned on my TBR. It's The King I'm excited for. I miss reading BDB series. I think I skipped one of their story but I will get back to it.
I'm a new follower via GFC. Here's my #FF
Great list. Have a great weekend! =)
