MT Review: Second Honeymoon [Hardcover]
I've finished "Hunting Eve" the 16th book in her Eve Ducan series by Iris Johansen.
Product Description
A walk down the aisle, a resort hotel, a drink on the beach for these unlucky couples, the honeymoon's over.
A newlywed couple steps into the sauna in their deluxe honeymoon suite -- and never steps out again. When another couple is killed while boarding their honeymoon flight to Rome, it becomes clear that someone is targeting honeymooners, and it's anyone's guess which happy couple is next on the list.
FBI Agent John O'Hara is deep into solving the case, while Special Agent Sarah Brubaker is hunting another ingenious serial killer, whose victims all have one chilling thing in common.
As wedding hysteria rises to a frightening new level, John and Sarah work ever more closely together in a frantic attempt to decipher the logic behind two rampages. SECOND HONEYMOON is James Patterson's most mesmerizing, most exciting, and most surprising thriller ever.

My Review:
This book opens with a 7 year old boy who shots a bogeyman.
John O'Hara is an FBI agent who has recently lost his wife in a car accident and is on suspended leave to put himself back together. He is a devoted father to his two young sons and has a great relationship to his in-laws.
He is specially requested to solve a murder of a recently married couple vacationing in Turks and Caico for their honeymoon while in the sauna. The husband is the son of a very wealthy, important and influential man who is funding the investigation. The Turks and Caico cop has an invested interest in the investigation but wants to prevent too much negative publicity for tourism and the hotel where the scene of the crime was committed.
Special Agent Sarah Brubaker is after another serial killer who targets victims with the same shocking thing in common.
This book had fascinating characters, great locations, two interesting story lines and a couple of terrifying and psychotic serial killers.
3.5/5
