Manhwa Review: 13th Boy, Vol. 4 [Paperback]

I've finished "13th Boy Vol. 4" by SangEun Lee.

Product Description

Hee-So's devotion to Won-Jun is so major that she's willing to go to great lengths to make him happy. This time, she decides to go against the tide of popular (female) opinion at school by siding with Sae-Bom against the girls who hate her. Doing this even alienates her from her best friend, Nam-Joo, but while Hee-So is many things, she's no quitter, and she has no intention of giving up on either Sae-Bom or Nam-Joo! However, when the dirty tricks reach fever pitch, will Hee-So's determination be enough to get her out of a potentially fatal situation? Or will she need a little magic on her side?

About the Author

SangEun Lee is also the creator of the manhwa series Forget About Love and Love or Money.

My Review:

Hee-So and Sae-Bom are being targeted by the popular girls in gym class.  All of the girls decide to team up and throw balls at Hee-So and Sae-Bom which Hee-So rebounds.  Then they throw one at Sae-Bom and Hee-So throws herself at the ball and she gets hit in the face.  She faints and the girls throw a bunch at Hee-So and Sae-Bom until Won-Jun saves them.

He takes Hee-So to the infirmary and he has a chat with Whie-Young.  Then Won-Jun has a chat with Nam-Joo about not knowing about her feelings about her friendship with Hee-Soo.

Hee-So challanges Nam-Joo to a judo match which Nam-Joo lets her win.  Hee-Soo makes Nam-Joo hang around Sae-Bom and to protect her.

4/5
