ARC Review: Wildcat: The Cat Star Chronicles [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished "Wild Cat" the book inher Cat Star Chronicles series by Cheryl Brooks.

Product Description

Only One Woman Can Tame Him

When horse breeder Sara Shield encounters Jerden Morokovitz riding naked and bareback, she's stunned by the magnificence of both man and stallion. But Sara came to Terra Minor hoping to get away from all the men.

If She Can Give Up Her Fear

The murder of Jerden's lover by a deranged woman has left this former star attraction of the Zetithian Palace brothel shattered in mind and body. Jerden is sure that Sara can heal his anguish — but not unless he can find the key to her heart.

My Review:

Sara Shields has come to Terra Minor to get away from all the men when her Andalusian Stallion Danublan escapes to her Jerden Morokovitz her neighbor's place.  She heads over there when she sees Jerden riding on Danublan naked and she is fascinated by him.  Their first encounter isn't a pleasant experience.

Jerden Morokovitz has come to Terra Minor to escape the senseless killing of his bedmate and is surprised at his attraction to Sara.  He seems to have an affinity to animals since they start adopting him (dogs, cats, leopard and Sara's horse Danublan).

Sara has nightmares of her violent past and is quite wary of getting involved with a Zethanian with a reputation like Jerden.  Then Jerden gets ill and he passes out at her place and they build a friendship which turns into love.  She feels safe with Jerden and realizes he won't hurt her or her friends.

4/5
