My Review:
In 1898 The Jerry McGuen sinks to the bottom of Lake Michigan taking with it the ill-gotten sarcophagus of an Egyptian sorcerer and everyone on board.
When a lone diver mysteriously dies doing a documentary on the Jerry
McGuen on a solo dive before his crew arrives medical examiner and
paranormal investigator for the Texas Krewe of Hunters Katya Sokolov is
assigned to investigate. Her partner is FBI and former magician Will
Chan of the original Krewe of Hunters. The ship was carrying the
sarcophagus of Amon Mopat the evil sorcerer during Ramses II era.
I really enjoyed the interplay between Kat and Will because they are the total opposites of each other (she's more subtle while he's more in your face during interrogations) and it seems like they are always arguing and not having a civil conversations. I thought it was quite funny and it was very sizzling by the time they finally did the deed.
