About the Author
Natsume Ono made her professional debut in 2003 with the webcomic La Quinta Camera. Her subsequent works not simple, Ristorante Paradiso, and Gente (a continuation of Ristorante Paradiso) met with both critical and popular acclaim. In 2009 Ristorante Paradiso was adapted into a TV anime series. Her current series House of Five Leaves (Saraiya Goyou) is running in IKKI magazine.
My Review:
I highly recommend this manga series if you like good food, great characters and older men in glasses.
You learn the backstory of how Ristorante Paradiso was first established and also the back ground of all the main characters and how they got their jobs.
The older men in glasses is a unique story idea and it was certainly a delight!
There is also an anime based on this manga series which I have seen!
