I've just finished reading "Forbidden Nights with a Vampire" the 7th book in her Love at Stake series by Kerrelyn Sparks.
Product Description
Vanda Barkowski is in trouble.
As the owner of a hot nightclub, she's more unconventional than most of her fellow vampires, and if some think her a little out of control, then so be it. But after three former employees filed a complaint about her temper, Vanda is sentenced to an anger management class. Worse, Phil Jones agreed to be her sponsor. Phil, the mortal who is forbidden to her . . .
If Vanda knew who—or what—Phil really is, she'd reconsider her attraction to him, for his true nature is wilder than anything she'd ever imagined. He has tackled the beast within and now is the perfect person to help Vanda with her rage . . . if only he can keep his cool when she makes him so undeniably hot. But with rogue vamps on the loose, will they ever have their forbidden nights?
About the Author
Kerrelyn Sparks's first paranormal romance, How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire, flew out of the bat cave in 2005 and survived three weeks on the USA Today Bestseller list. In 2006, Vamps and the City became the second book in the Love At Stake series. Kerrelyn lives in the Greater Houston area with her husband and brilliant children. At this time, there are no vampires in her family. Werewolves are another matter entirely.
My review:
One of the better books in the series because this one is not as silly as some of the others.
I really enjoyed reading this one about Vanda and Phil who is a match for her.
5/5

I have been trying to collect this whole series before I start reading it. Yea, I know... I am crazy that way. OCD thing won't let me read out of order.
So, I skimmed your review of it. But I will be back once I do finally read it. Did you read the whole series before reading this one?
Hi Cecile,
No I haven't read the whole series before this one.
I've read "Vamps in the City", Secret Life of a Vampire" and this one "Forbidden Nights with a Vampire.
I have "How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire", "Be Still My Vampire Heart" and "The Undead Next Door" in my TBR pile.
I'm still hunting for "All I Want for Christmas is a Vampire".
I recommend reading this series if you like light and funny read.
You did not feel "lost" reading out of order. I am only asking because the inner OCD person can not get over that!! LOL!!!
And if you did not feel lost... then I will definitely read the ones that I have already!! Thanks for letting me know!
No I didn't really feel lost but I did wonder who some people were though. LOL!
