TC Archer's Abducted Blog Tour with a Spotlight and Q/A

I am so excited to have TC Archer here at Paranormal and Romantic Suspense Reviews with a Spotlight and Q/A.

Thanks TC and Rock Star PR and Literary Consulting Ltd. for allowing me to join your Abducted Blog Tour!

Please take it away, TC!
Q/A

1.  Tell us about your first book. What would readers find different about the first one and your most recent published work?

The biggest difference between our first book and Abducted is our first book was a retro detective story that takes place in the months after WWII. The language and style is appropriate for that time period when the films were black and white and the men always wore hats.

2.  Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

This is romance. Love conquers all!

3.  Does music play any type of role in your writing?

If you mean do we listen to music while writing, no. Music is distracting. Evan prefers to have the TV on. (Shawn isn’t able to multi-task as well as Evan.)

4.  Are experiences based on someone you know, or events in your life?

There are always elements of this. They say ‘write what you know,’ but what they really mean is ‘at least get the setting and background right.’ On the other hand, writers can’t get themselves adducted or have killers stalking them before they write the book. So, it’s also important to write what you don’t know.

ABDUCTED: Reconnaissance Team (Texas Rangers: Special Ops Book 1)

Blurb:

She came for the fashion show. He came to catch a killer.

The El Paso fashion gala was slated to be the hottest event of the year and a must do if Liz Monahan, the creative brains behind Nina Bruno Designs, was to vault the company to the big time. Circumstances put Liz at the party in one of her own creations, escorted by a young, handsome model hired to show her off to the well-known and well-established. But Liz didn’t count on her date being an undercover Texas Ranger who is investigating a human trafficking ring. She also didn’t count on being kidnapped and trafficked herself.

When Texas Ranger Ben Hunter slips away from Liz Monahan at the gala and begins his investigation, he couldn’t be more surprised to arrive in Juarez, Mexico to find her held captive by infamous human trafficker Carlos Sanchez. In order to save her, Ben must commit murder. Hers.
