If you are new to the FF fun, Feature and Follow Friday
is a blog
hop that expands your blog following by a
joint effort between
bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday
is now hosted by TWO hosts,
myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs! How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
Now to make this FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES and Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list! It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.
This Meme is hosted by Rachel from Parajunkee Review and Alison from Alison Can Read on Fridays.
To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee and Alison Can Read}
2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love and the followers.
8. If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
Our Feature is Corazones Literarios
When did you start blogging?
I started blogging six and a half years ago. I created different blogs through out two years (fashion news, music news, celebs news). I think since I discovered the blogs I was meant to be a journalist but I didn’t know at that time.
Then I create Corazones Literarios and everything fix perfectly. I have two more blogs: my personal site (in Spanish) and another I using for my Thesis (yeah, my thesis is about blogs, that’s how crazy I’m for this). Now they’re like my little babies and I’m so proud to be their mama!
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
Books. May it seems like a cliché answer but that’s how it is. I would never have the chance to blow away my mind, read from different talented minds and have outstanding stories each time if wasn’t for book blogging. So, that’s my favorites thing.
What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I like almost all genre but I mainly feature Adult Paranormal and New Adult Romance right now.
What is your favorite book(s)?
I probably going to say the firsts books of my favorites series. I like them because they get us into the story and actually are the best of the series.
Harry Potter and The Philosophy’s Stone
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
My whole life revolves around the fat man, so sometimes it’s nice to have something of my own. The fact that people, authors and such send me books – is just a plus – but getting them to ship to the north pole is kind of hard.
Our Feature - Even If It's Not Real
1. When did you start blogging?
I started blogging early this year, but I didn’t really keep up with it. I started blogging more regularly and consistently this October.
2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?
My favorite parts about book blogging would be finding out about new books and hearing other people’s opinions on books that I’ve read. I love that someone else can get something completely different from a book than I did.
3. What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I mainly blog about YA/Teen books, but I don’t limit it to that. I’ll blog about any book I read, whatever genre it may be. I definitely love realistic fiction, but I also love a good fantasy book. I won’t lie though, I really like a good sappy romance every once and a while.
4. What are your favorite books?
It’s really hard for me to choose a favorite book, but the books I reread the most are The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and pretty much all of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books. I also love basically any book that can make me cry. Is that weird?
5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
The best thing that’s happened to me since I’ve started book blogging is definitely getting comments on my blog. It’s really exciting to log on and find a new one! It’s fun that I can talk to people who love the same stuff as I do.
Question of the Week: Happy New Year!!!! What was your favorite book of 2014 - or books if you can't name just one? - Suggested by Alison Can Read
