If you are new to the FF fun,
Feature and Follow Friday
is a blog
hop that expands your blog following by a
joint effort between
bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday
is now hosted by TWO hosts,
myself of course and Alison of
Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then
you create a
post on your own blog that links back
to this post (easiest way
is to just grab the code under the
#FF picture and put it in
your post) and then you visit as
many blogs as you can and tell
them "hi" in their comments (on
the post that has the #FF
image). You follow them, they
follow you.
Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
Now to make this FF interesting we do a
FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above
FEATURES and Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list! It is also
required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (
Parajunkee and
Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.
This Meme is hosted by Rachel from
Parajunkee's View and Alison from
Alison Can Read on Fridays.
To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
1.
(Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {

2.

3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.
You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for
people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are
now following you.
5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC
(Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be
followed
6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or
just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new
blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger
might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love and the followers.
8. If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
Fandomly Bookish
1. When did you start blogging?
I actually started blogging around 2010, I think. But it wasn’t the kind of blogging that I’m doing now. It was for a fansite called RobstenDreams.com. So, I was just dealing with updates and uploading HQ photos only. With this one, Fandomly Bookish, I have this blog since 2012 but just made it fully active last year.
2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?
The community itself, the authors, bloggers and readers! I love them and it’s so much fun interacting with them. I get to share my thoughts about a certain book to everyone and people could throw in their comments about it too, or even find a way to fangirl with me! Plus, there’s just so many cool stuff happening around our community everyday!
3. What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Young Adult and New Adult books!
4. What is your favorite book(s)?
Oh dear. I’ve got loads of favorite books and series! I’ll probably tire you out with my list but I’ll just do a quick rundown
1. The Mortal Instruments Series and The Infernal Devices Trilogy by Cassandra Clare
2. Colleen Hoover books
3. Making Faces by Amy Harmon
4. Abbi Glines books 5. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (You can stop by my blog for my full list of favorite books, though.)
5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
Hmmm the best thing would probably be that I gained a lot of friends (from across the globe) when I started book blogging! Seriously, even my personal Facebook accounts is filled with book readers! Then every now and then I get a message from them asking for recommendations on what to read next and all those bookish questions. *happy dance* Always happy to help them!
1. When did you start blogging?
I started blogging last December. I graduated from university with an English Lit and History degree last summer, and after leaving I found it odd no longer writing about the books that I was reading. I found myself keeping notes, which gradually turned into reviews, and the idea of starting a book blog just popped into my head one day. Little did I know that there was this whole crazy world of fellow book bloggers just waiting to be discovered!
2. What is your favorite part of book blogging?
Meeting like-minded people. Not many of my friends and family read, and so blogging is the perfect way to talk about the books that I love.
3. What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Mainly historical/contemporary romance and YA/NA fiction, but I'm happy to read and blog about pretty much anything!
4. What are your favorite books?
This is an impossible question! I love Elizabeth Chadwick's historical fiction, and Anthony Horowitz is another favourite author. I love classic authors like F. Scott Fitzgerald and the Bronté sisters too.
5. What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
It's got to be the free books right? The postman must laugh to himself at how excited I get when he brings a parcel for me! Knowing that you're getting to read them before everybody else is an added bonus too.
Question of the Week: Post a photo of your favorite coffee mug (or mugs if you can’t choose just one).
