Cozy Review: The Sayers Swindle (A Book Collector Mystery)
I've finished "The Sayer's Swindle" the 2nd book in her Book Collector series by Victoria Abbott.
Jordan Kelly is delighted to make money tracking down rare and valuable mystery novels for her employer, Vera Van Alst, an avid collector and the most difficult woman in Harrison Falls, New York.
But now her boss’s complete set of Dorothy Sayers is missing, and finding them may lead Jordan to a murder suitable for Sayers’s esteemed sleuth, Lord Peter Wimsey.
When Jordan manages to locate her boss’s missing books, they are in the possession of Randolph Adams, an elderly man in a nearby town. Offering a valuable Hemingway first edition as an incentive, Jordan thinks she’s about to seal the deal — but some of Randolph’s relatives think he should hold out for more.
Then the entire family disappears — and a dead body shows up. It’s up to Jordan to collect the clues — and make sure a killer gets booked.

My Review:
Jordan Kelly is still working for Vera Van Alst and this time she needs to recover her bosses Dorothy Sayers complete book collection which has gone missing.
Karen Smith the bookseller who sold the books is suffering from a head injury and her memory is not what it used to be. Jordan and Karen join forces to discover who she sold the books to and what to offer in return.
Jordan manages to track them down to Lord Randolph an older gentleman and she offers a very valuable Hemingway first edition in exchange but some of his relatives think he should hold off for something more valuable.
This was a very fun cozy mystery to read with a likeable heroine, Officer Smiley, Jordan's crush who appears at unexpected times and then disappears, Vera's housekeeper who always supplying Jordan with delicious food to gorge herself and Walter a mysterious pug.
3/5
