PNR Review: Magic Unchained: A Novel of the Nightkeepers (FINAL PROPHECY) [Mass Market Paperback]
I've finished "Magic Unchained" the 7th book in her Final Prophecy series by Jessica Andersen.
Product Description
Cara Liu is determined to unite the forces under her leadership but when Nightkeeper Sven enters the scene, Cara has trouble separating her duty to her people from her desire for her ex-lover. Their secret affair will not only jeopardize a tenuous alliance among the Nightkeepers, but it also distracts them from a danger within their own ranks planning a vicious betrayal ...

My Review:
In his youth Sven was a party animal adrenaline junkie who is now a coyote mage Nightkeeper tracker. His only friend is his coyote familiar Mac. Cara's father bound Cara to him as his winikin when both were teenagers. The bond ended disastrously though she had fallen in love with him.
Cara has returned to lead the winikins and she knows how hard that will be because the group is divided between the old and the new. The Nightkeepers and winikins bond has been severed because of the fears and the trust between them have been violated.
4/5
