Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter, Book 1) (Mass Market Paperback)
I've just finished reading "Fantasy Lover" the pre-quel to her Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Product Description
Dear Reader, Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day. As a love-slave, I knew everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past. She, alone, bothered to take me out of the bedroom and into the world. She taught me to love again. But I was not born to know love. I was cursed to walk eternity alone. As a general, I had long ago accepted my sentence. Yet now I have found Grace-the one thing my wounded heart cannot survive without. Sure, love can heal all wounds, but can it break a two thousand year old curse? Julian of Macedon
About the Author
New York Times best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon knows men. She lives outside of Nashville, TN with her husband and three sons. Raised in the middle of eight boys, and currently outnumbered by the Y chromosomes in her home, she realizes the most valuable asset a woman has for coping with men is a sense of humor. Not to mention a large trash bag and a pair of tongs.
Writing as Sherrilyn Kenyon and Kinley MacGregor, she is the best-selling author of several series including, The Dark-Hunters, Brotherhood of the Sword, and The MacAllisters. Her novel Fantasy Lover was voted as one of the Top Ten Romances of 2002 by Romance Writers of America.
My review:
I have to confess that I wasn't really sure if I wanted to read this book or not because I do like Julian but he didn't really interest me that much. I'm glad I did because I actually enjoyed this book.
4/5
I have not yet read this series...there are so many books out there that I say the same about...not enough reading hours in a day.
