Follow My Blog Friday #97

If you are new to the FF fun, Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Now to make this FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES and Features and Follow Friday and get on the waiting list!  It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee and Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.

This Meme is hosted by Rachel from Parajunkee's View and Alison from Alison Can Read on Fridays.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

1. Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host {Parajunkee.com} {Alisoncanread.com}and any one else you want to follow on the list.

2. Follow our Featured Bloggers - Ali's Bookshelf and The Housework Can Wait.

3. Put your Blog name and URL in the Linky thing.

4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments

5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can

6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love ... and the followers

7. If your new to the Follow Friday Hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Ali’s Bookshelf Reviews

button Feature & Follow #95

Ali is a college student studying Physical therapy aide and Massage Therapy at the same time also she is a mother of two. Her kids are the world to her and she even blogs with her little girl in a feature called Mini Me Corner Review. Being a book blogger is one of her hobbies she loves the most and her motto is you can never have to many books!

Sharing her love of books with everyone she meets is something else she loves. Ali reads pretty much anything she can get her hands on but she loves Fantasy, Dystopian, YA, chicklit, etc.

The Housework Can Wait

Hey there! My name is Lauren and I'm a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom for two little girls/walking, talking balls of energy. I spend a large portion of time just waiting for one of them to spontaneously combust. It really wouldn't be surprising.

I started my blog because I love to read (when I can squeeze it in around work and my various Mommy duties) and I always want to talk about the books I read after I finish them. The problem is that most of my friends don't read what I read. And those that do, don't want to drop their work/Mommy duties at my every whim to talk about the books I read. Blogging is the perfect outlet for me to get all my words out of my brain and out into the world. And the best part is, I've ""met"" other people who like the same kind of stuff I do! Huzzah!

My favorite books include Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, the Farseer/Liveship/Tawny Man trilogies by Robin Hobb, the Ender/Shadow series by Orson Scott Card, and The Princess Bride by William Goldman. Right now I'm trying to finish Glitch by Heather Anastasiu, but it's proving difficult since it's on my iPad and my 3-year-old keeps stealing it to do puzzle apps. So I'm getting ready to start The False Prince by Jennifer Nielsen.

Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

I would ask Laurell K. Hamilton to tone down Anita's ardeur and stop adding men to her harem.  I would also ask her maybe narrow it down to a few men.

I would love to ask Jeaniene Frost where she got her inspiration to write Chapter 32?

Wow, the more I read about Anita Blake's romantic tendencies, the more comfortable I feel in not going beyond the first 3 books. LOL

How many men are there in Anita's life, exactly? And when did that start? I want to read some of the books but it's like.. no. o.ô

Hopping through. Everyone seems to get mad about how Anita Blake has changed. I still want to read the series though.

I haven't read the Anita Blake series yet but it's definitely on my list. Thanks for stopping by our blog. And we're new followers. :)

OOoohh... Chapter 32, huh? Seems foreboding. I'm guessing that's a chapter from one of her books and not the title of a book? Because being seriously inquisitive, now I just have to know what happens.

Curiouser and curiouser...

I'm a new follower! Feel free to visit my FF!
